How many "come ons" will Hewitt say?
It seems in Davis Cup matches he lifts his come on rate significantly. Like one come on after every game. And they're louder too.![]()

No...
He lost to Vliegen (sp?). Where was his desire there?
Yes Hewitt chocked, but Vliegen is a good player, I hate Hewitt but only an idiot would question his desire to sucees in Davis Cup

Nicely put. Anyone's got the right to like and hate who they want but you can't deny his desire to win for his country.
Dont even go there! The US should win the cup.
So will Switzerland!!! wonder if the arrogant one will play for his country now?No, we go into the world group playoff draw (september 07) with the other first round losers and the winners of the zonal groups. If we win this, we are back in the world group for next year, lose and we go down to the asian/oceania group for next year which means no world group action in 2008.

No-one gives a toss about the Davis cup anyway and when your winning grand slams like he is why would you bother about Davis Cup.Most of the top players around the world dont rate the Davis cup and therfore dont play which is why it has no prestige in winning it.I would much rather concentrate on winning grand slam tournemants than crappy Davis cup titlesSo will Switzerland!!! wonder if the arrogant one will play for his country now?
Here we go again. You really have no idea. Why would he, he is too busy winning GRAND SLAMS! You know the tournaments that 99% of players care about. Not some little Davis Cup thing where most players don't bother, and for a good reason!
Here we go again. You really have no idea.
#2- Rafael Nadal, Scheduled to play but pulled out at the last minute.
#3- Davydenko, Led Russian to DC victory just last year.
#4- Roddick, Represented the USA and won both matches.
#5- Gonzalez, Represented Chile.
#6- Blake, Represented USA.
#7- Robredo, Represented Spain last year.
#8- Ljubicic, Represented Croatia.
#9- Ancic, Represented Croatia.
#10- Haas, Represented Germany.
Most players don't bother? I think that's incorrect, don't you? I know you're trying gallantly to defend Roger but it’s pointless. Virtually every top player in the world plays Davis Cup, except Roger. And if you honestly think that by playing a tie will ruin his chances of Grand Slam success then you’re even more clueless than I thought.
