Pathetic performance from both the Davis boys.
All you needed to do was kick 1 goal each boys, not such a hard task really.
Maybe Nick was thinking of the sunshine in Sydney, and Leon just went walkabout.

Leon was not fit and has not been fit for weeks. It makes a mockery of Malthouse's claim not to run unfit players. (Same applies to Molloy). Leon is ok and he will be back.

Nick Davis, if we can find a suitable trade (it would need to be a player of the highest quality), is free to go IMO.

We have Licuria and Rocca - I think we are ahead there (yet I know they are not straight swaps but our Swans rejects are better than their Pie rejects)

And Nick Davis's value has probably been diminished. Where the Pies could have grabbed a Saddington for him maybe not now.

No excuse but Leon was at my hairdressers on Friday night getting his hair cut and was his first grand final, VERY NERVOUS....

Both are required players. Leon has improved throughout his 3 years. He is still improving. His next year has to be an improvement. Nick is close to the most skilled player at the club. Given a good pre season after a reasonable layoff he will shine next year either at Collingwood or Sydney. I hope it is Collingwood. If he leaves we will get stiffed unless we can organise a 3 way deal to get a class ruckman. Sydney have nothing we need. I hope Nick stays. If he doesn't we have to refuse to deal with Sydney and he will end up in the draft. The Swans will not get a bargain.

It will be a good experience for the 2 young fellas, imagine the nerves they would of had, a grand final under the belt now and they will be a lot more influential on the grand final we play in next year.

IMO you have got to be kidding. A player of the highest quality for someone who kicks an arsey goal every now and then, and goes missing for 3 and a half quarters. You can keep him.

There are hundreds of aboriginal boys with a lot more talent than him, its just that Leon wants it more than most of them, i believe even his father has stated that his brothers or cousins are more skilled than him, but good on him its not always the best footballers that make it.

He will come back strong next year, but perhaps he doesnt like wet weather footy.

If I had it my way I wouldnt trade Nick Davis to Sydney..they have no one under the age of 25 of his talent. Saddington while a solid player is not a matchwinner in the ilk of Nick.
