He was in consideration, he should've kicked 7 he missed a sitter late, but his overall champs weren't as good as that last game where he popped off, instead I went for 1 of the rucks as the 2nd tall forw.I thought Darcy Montgomery (WA) was pretty unlucky not to be AA. For a WA player to kick six goals against a Vic C team is rare. Certainly not something us poor old Sandgropers see often if at all. Thought his other two games were good also.
Fair call. The other player I really like from WA is tall defender Matthew Becker. I love tall defenders with a calmness and athleticism. It's a bit of a speculator but one to keep an eye on for sure.He was in consideration, he should've kicked 7 he missed a sitter late, but his overall champs weren't as good as that last game where he popped off.

Cooney out for the season injuredAppreciate your work Davo-27
Would love your thoughts on the 3 bulldog father sons, West, Cooney and Lake.
Ah sorry I thought they played in the u16 champsI didn't see them at the u16s so idk yet.
I have not seen his school or local footy, at Sandy he looked like a long shot, maybe rookie chance?, it's up to the club at the end of the day.Davo-27
How did you think Casher Dear is tracking come the end of the season has he done enough to be nominated as father son in the hope if he doesn’t get picked up he could picked as a rookie to develop at Box Hill. As I feel he could be a late developer.
I think they played u15s? Which I didn't get to watch.Ah sorry I thought they played in the u16 champs
Watched 2 of the 3 Gold Coast games and it seemed the 27 Kalani White played in defence, took a few loose intercept marks, looks OK, but not AA worthy, he could've smashed a weak team in the 3rd game?, but he wasn't very influential in either 2 games I saw, Brisbane game was by far the best opponent and I think he took 3 marks in defence and not much else, I don't even think he rucked much at all... so how the fk is he AA? Odd call imo, maybe it's based on pedigree? and hoping he is as good as his pick 1 father?
Way too many div 2 kids in the AA imo
Ok because I found it odd, I wanted to do an AA Team for the u16s
B: Jadd Hill (WA), Cooper Duff-Tytler (VM), Jim Kelly (SA)
HB: Zeke Uwland (GCS), Riley Onley (VC), Xavier Bamert (VM)
C: Lachlan Dovaston (VM), Blake Kelly (WA), Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier (SA)
HF: Jack Harrison (Bris), Louis Emmett (VM), Giuseppe Posterino (VC)

INT: Tairon Ah-Mu (VC), Jack Dalton (VM), Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (VC), Noah Roberts-Thompson (SA)
Marcus Cassidy (WA), Raphael Geesu (Bris), Charlie Hewitt (Bris), Jobe Scapin (VC), Toby Whan (WA).
VM - 7 (winners div 1)
WA - 6 (runners up div 1)
SA - 4
VC - 5
Bris - 3 (winners div 2)
GCS - 2 (runners up div 2)
Just finished watching the Bris A win over GCS A, the players I already mentioned previously all stood out again, but I have a few more players from Brisbane A I wanted to mention as likely prospects
(Dylan Patterson, Zeke Uwland, Jai Murray and Beau Addinsall) GCS A
(Raphael Geesu, Jack Harrison, Daniel Annabel and Charlie Hewitt) Bris A
Lachlan Chambers 192cm forw Bris A 2025 draft
Jordan Chambers 182cm def Bris A 2025 draft
Jack Slater 184cm def/mid Bris A 2025 draft
Matthew Owen hbf/wing/hff 172cm Bris A 2026 draft
Brisbane might have 6 draftable options if they all develop as expected in 2025, they have Ashcroft, Marshall and Hewitt for 2024 and at least 1 for 2026, seems like they are going to have a rich vein of talent coming through in the near future.
The Qld zones are becoming strong.
It was AA for the Champs not specifically for the 2025 draft, for example Will McCabe was AA u16s last year and is eligible to be drafted this year, also Dyson Sharp I think was close to AA last year as an underager.Hewitt ineligible, otherwise not a bad effort.

Cheers I think it's a pretty strong AA Team.
He is already physically there like Shannon Hurn or Will Gould prior to being drafted, which one will he be?TView attachment 1775480

No member of the Bevan family has ever "clogged" up a thread on this forum.I think he is related to Nathan Philactides, im not going to take it personal, friends and family have attacked me for years over my ratings, 1 more doesn't affect me, last year it was Kane Bevans family clogging up my thread, this year it's another players friends or family that doesn't like where I have them ect....
Seriously?....no such "posse" exists....a very poor unjustified comment - maybe you've been watching too many old Western movies!I reckon the Bevan posse was the worst we've seen

That’s some pretty intimate knowledge you have of Kane there, Mrs Bevan.
