His build and look are similar to Ryan Griffen you're right and i think he has a similar impact/playstyle to Matt Rowell for the Suns in modern footy

I think there's a top 6 forming, I would have them in this order from my PoV
1. Dyson Sharp
2. Cooper Duff-Tytler
3. Zeke Uwland (GCS)
4. Dan Annable (Bris)
5. Josh Lindsay
6. Willem Duursma

Other top 10 possibles

Oliver Greeves
Sam Cumming
Harley Barker
Max King (Syd)
Archie Ludowyke
Aiden Schubert

Good top 6, can’t for the life of me understand “experts” that don’t have Sharp near the pointy end but would be interested to know why you don’t have Patterson in there, even in the top 10? Cumming could end up well entrenched in there too and real shame Barker has done his ACL.

I've had Patterson rated 19 and 13 in previous rankings and I think he is more likely to go 2nd half of round 1

Sharp is rated by those that matter.

Not a draft watcher here but I've seen some limited vision. Why top 6 for Lindsay? He seems like he would be an excellent half back/wing type, which doesn't scream top 6 to me.

He is the best kick in the draft, last year that was Xavier Lindsay, a few years ago it was Hayden Young, Max Holmes is a wing that is becoming more valuable with his meters gained, Josh could be the next Karl Amon, Dan Houston, Will Drew type of halfback which gives a team a transition play maker(look at Carlton as to why thats important), I think they can be very valuable if they work out.

Hey Davo, although not 2025 draft.

Khaled el souki small forward for Western Jets (bulldogs academy), 4 goals against Geelong Falcons on the weekend. Where abouts in the draft do you expect him to go?

Is he the best small forward of the 2026 draftees?

any other elite kicks in the top 40?

King had a really disappointing Championships. I very much doubt he is anywhere near first round draft consideration.

In this draft he still is because it's shallow.

Would you still take Barker with a late 2nd even though he's done his ACL?

The really elite kick was Harrison Bridge, but he was injured in the 1st Allies game by the looks of things and hasn't been sighted since.

Would think he goes around again as an overager next year, unless someone takes a punt on him in the rookie draft.

I have not seen a lot of footy in 2025, but I've heard his name being mentioned as 1 to look out for

Not many I can think of, maybe 1 or 2 others aligned to clubs already

He has a lot of high end skills and good combine results, could miss the top 10 if he doesn't perform on the big stage?

Late 2nd? Absolutely.
I may be wrong here, but if Harley Barker goes even in the second round I'll jump of Glenelg pier! I've got a huge opinion of him and even though his injury may push him back a couple of spots, I will be absolutely speechless if his name is not called out in the first round.

In this low key draft, he is one of a handful of players to get very excited about, in my opinion he reminds me of a young Ben Hart from the Crows and when he gets on a list and recovers from his injury the half back flank would be his home for the next three or four years.

He played there early in his career and we already know what he can do as a winger, the most underrated prospect in this national draft by a country mile. But from a North supporter, I hope I am wrong, he would be our Ben Hart in our backline for awhile and at stages could push up to the wing for a quarter or two, dual position players of his potential are GOLD and it would take a brave or experienced recruiter to bypass him for someone else in this draft, more so after the first few picks to start the draft.

As I have stated in our thread, so many people are going to have a wide range of players at picks where others it will be the complete opposite of where they are ranked, such varying views are going to be the storyline for this draft.

Blake Oudshoon-Bennier is the SA lad flying way way below the radar, almost the complete footballer already and easily one of the top 2 or 3 kicks in this draft.

Yes, nice player. On our draft thread I have Bob at #26 but as I have stated previously there are a lot of players that literally could go anywhere in the first two rounds, lots of recruiters will have varying ideas about who they rate and where they are on there whiteboard.

I have not watched enough of their draft year so I would be doing people a disservice, better I stay quiet if I don't have enough information on this yrs draft, sorry.

Be surprised if one of the top 8 teams dont take him in the late 1st. GWS for example the kind of team where he doesnt need to come back straight away and can wait at least a year or two to get his body right.

Seems you picked a good year to be preoccupied.

Nothing really exciting all round.
