No he won't leave he is a required player.
I think he was waiting for Daisy to get his deal done first then the pies would negotiate with him ,probably do after season ends.

plenty of rumours to suggest every other team could see a future with dawes.
but the point is, and has been widely discussed, money isnt the reason he plays footy, as apparently he has plenty, so its just the success, and the publicity being a 5 time collingwood premiership player will bring him in later life.

I don't think Dawes is going anywhere but if he did it is hard to imagine him going to anyone other than GWS given noone else could pay him as much and money could be the only reason for him to leave. The more Scully's that sign the better I like it because there is less money left in their cap to poach a Collingwood player.

Someone really needs to put in an effort to come up with a good rumour for Dawes. I know we're all tired after that long Daisy thread. Big effort is needed.
By the way, Dawes has said he wont be moving....but start the rumours anyway.

He's said before that money wasn't that important as his family is rich. As long as he enjoys playing for Collingwood and his teammates, all should be fine.

They say Hawthorn, North and the Dogs are keen on Gunston, and that Carlton are a bit behind in interest compared to those 3 clubs. But why? Carlton need a decent key forward, it's the only thing that is cockblocking them from a premiership. Only likely conclusion is that they have Dawes up their sleeve and is the reason for Dawes not signing yet and why he's playing so bad.

they are probably 4 KP players short of a premiership. and their 2nd & 3rd tier onballers (including half backs & small forwards) are largely aging along with judd, and hence running out of time. this is a team that need free agency to buy their way to a premiership, but it may prove to be too late anyway.

I will sleep better once he signs. I know he states he is committed so I won't suggest anything different.
There will be one surprise recruit announced over the finals for GWS and I am sure Sheeds would love to get any Collingwood player and make it the biggest news in the land.

Every club would want him, I would imagine. Or have a space for him. The exception being maybe West Coast, with Kennedy & Lynch up there.
I know the Suns in particular are screaming for an experienced key forward. Cannot see him leaving though.
