Midday start next morning easy.one saving grace, the men do get 2 days off, just one.
Still......I don't know if I prefer a 4 am finish or a midday start the next morning, even with 2 days off.
They still get a match on RLA, one on MCA.
They should be in their seats now...I would prefer to watch live tennis if I had a ticket which says at "session starts at 7" and I am looking at another hour of waiting on site.
If they move it to MCA, then they can enter and watch. It also helps the TV stations that advertise the match starting at 7:15. Not ideal if you only got one TV station, but blame Tiley.
Some fans do...They pay for RLA, much rather it finish late it is better. Fans love it and end of the day fans give their hard earned to watch it in the best stadium not the second best
We are on track to finish before that at least. It was 11.47pm before Hewitt and Baghdatis stepped onto Rod Laver Arena, where they then battled over five intense sets.
The day session – where defending champion Roger Federer had been pushed to five sets – had run late. Venus Williams then opened the night session, which did not begin until about 10pm.
There is at Wimbledon. No cut off times in grand slams.

The only problem is MCA is half the size & not everyone would get a seat. They still get a match on RLA, one on MCA.

How do you fit 14,000 ticket holders into a court that holds about 7,000?Should move it to MCA and let any night session RLA ticket holders in.

This is all Gauff’s fault and the organisers for putting a Legends Doubles at midday.
Correct & they can't play beyond 11pm unless special permission is granted.Wimbledon has local council rules
The doubles yes but why wasn’t this a 12pm start not 1pm this happens every year at this time
Fritz is really digging in here, refuses to wilt even though he’s cooked. His hitting today is the cleanest I’ve seen
Craig disregards the fans who paid to watch night session. Most will leave by 11 or 12.They need to move the womens match. Hate to say it and it is not fair on them or the paying night session customers, but they are looking at 11pm at the earliest for Sinner and Rublev. And that assumes this lasts one more hour + change over + hour 1/2 womens match. That is a lot of assumptions.
The night session should have started now. So, there are thousands of tennis fans waiting for this match to finish before they get to their seats. So it is already poor for them. At least moving the match to MCA, they get to watch some tennis.
Honestly, F-Craig. Would love Novak and Fritz to play on til 10pm, and Sinner finishes at 5am, just to see that weasel back up his sunday move. Love nothing more than this blow up in his face.
Yeah I saw bits of it and he was hitting so well but Tsitsipas cannot return or BH still just breaks down way too much.He played even better against Tsitsipas the other day.
All that hard work to get the break and then let's Fritz back inDead set get a serve in you muppet
