Hardly going to effect your life. I voted for DS over here but either way I didn't care. Going dark at 8pm instead of 9pm is not life changing stuff, I'm not sweating over it and I find it hard to see how it influences the average citizen.

Ah I see, people are idiots for having their own opinion.

I don't really care either way, but I mean it stays light long enough during Summer in WA that we don't really need the extra 1hr at night time.
Other states the argument might be different but I don't see how something like this "really puts WA behind other states"

The WA sucks mentality is pretty stupid too, I don't know what we are "so far behind" in but I love living here personally.

While I'm at it, what I really don't agree with is the fact we had to vote for it, it was voted out. but the government goes, ah **** it, we will try it anyway.

Hate it, I feel like im going to get shanked at my 6am run.

Dislike Daylight savings, i must be a hillbilly. Dislike light at 9.30pm in the middle of summer. I also dont understand why Australian's think its nessisary, fair enough in europe when there is 6 hours of daylight in winter its fine to move it so you still have resemblance of light at 4pm but i guess im a morning person.

We can shop at most major shopping centres on Sundays now and I'd say soon enough we will have unrestricted weekend trading.

Like it or not, this is a stupid argument. I have been able to vote for over a decade, yet the most recent was the first time i had a say on this issue.

Don't you think that the voting population has changed significantly since the last time it was put to the vote?

By that logic decisions made democratically in the early 1900's should still stand and never be revisited.

And no, having an opinion doesnt automatically make people idiots.
