It took 2 attempts for me to get first in beginner. I've only played the other two tracks when in online races, did horribly in them barely made the final finish line in one race, missed out by a good 20 seconds on the other. I rarely chose anything other than beginner at the arcade, i only tended to race on them on the pc version "back in the day" .

Fun game, i got nostalgic just looking at the title screen..... took me back to the days at Time Zone. Making me feel like a kid again, i had the same feeling when playing the TMNT Arcade game when it was originally released on the XBLA ... watching the title sequence AND the snippet of the turtles landing on the building of the first level also made me feel like a little kid, and the joy of seeing it again etc.

Lets organise some online matches!!

Its awesome. Played 1 online match so far, just been mucking around a bit and have all but 3 of the achievements

D/l it yesterday for xbox - fantastic. perfect port. Used my microsoft force feedback wheel and its perfect for it. Couldnt find any races online using quickmatch tho.

Grabbed it on the weekend on PS3 too. Love it to death. Got all the trophies the first night which was a bit disappointing, but also satisfying. Feels so good sitting infront of the plasma with the steering wheel, just like having your own arcade. Unfortunately i don't have the moving basketball hoops to move on to after playing it though.

The online is already dead because Sega ****ed up with their stupid online system which is shithouse.

Played some of this tonight, it's definitely Daytona.

The online has nobody on though, like there's people willing to play (I set up a room and instantly had someone join), they just don't seem to want to set up lobbies to play in.

EDIT: In a 5 person lobby now! Exciting! Up to 8 people now!

Not really. The game lacks a pull back feature.

Once you've gone around the tracks a few times and played a bit of online that's really all there is to do.

Would've been good to add something extra, it really just lacks content on the whole.

Agree, but I just love the game so much that it doesn't bother me that much. I still play it at the arcades every chance I get. Hopefully Daytona 2/Sega Rally gets released on PSN/XBL.

Daytona USA 1 with some added tracks from the DC version would have been sweet. Also the lobby system is what has killed off the online so quickly.
