MRP / Trib. De Goey hit on Elijah Hewett

Been hit by hundreds of bumps and not once was there a concussion. Can count the number of times there was high contact on one hand.
If you jump up and into someone, you are absolutely more likely to hit them in the head.

Technique wise the unnatural feeling is because of the muscle memory of how to perform a bump, it'll require re-training over a few years to adjust to a new technique, much like re-learning how to kick for example.
I getcha, and agree, but if you go to bump ‘low’, you’re running the risk of concussing yourself. No one can retrain or reprogram their body to put itself at risk consciously.

Outcome should have nothing to do with it.

All it says is Smiths head is harder than Hewetts.
The fact is it does and it is taken into consideration.

The hint is in the grading matrix- Conduct (action), Contact (action) Impact (outcome).

Under the current guidelines I was expecting 3-4, so seems right.

One or two more compensation cases and this will be 7-8 weeks in the not-to-distant future.

Cop this dumbarse showing us a photo BEFORE the bump.
Degooby was off the ground on contact.
Collingwood supporters are so blind to their players indiscretions.

Here’s another photo where he clearly has made contact.

Degoeys foot is on the ground and his other is about 3cm off the ground. Eagles fans would like to believe he jumped 2 foot in the air.

He literally hand balled the ball and less the of a quarter second made impact.

Genuinely if you are comparing those incidents it shows how truely biased and blinded you are.

Macadam was terrible
There are actually people who believe McAdam's hit wasn't as bad. Mind boggling

Ban the action, not the outcome. Who gives a crap if Wehr wasn't concussed?

Mate I just watched it and it shows he clearly left the ground.
Look at the vision not the stills. SHEESH

OK, for those that need more direction, go look at the MOVING vision.

There’s no real jump at the head from DeGoey. When you run, jog or walk do you scrape your feet along the ground? No you don’t.

No pies fans are doing cartwheels about arguably our best player being banned for 3 matches. Don’t understand what you really expected the tribunal to do? Go against precedent and give him 5 weeks?
