Fraser Gherig will be at St Kilda next year, he signed the contract last Thursday. Bad luck Eddie!!!! He is a friend of the family so I would put my life on this one. He is getting around $420,000 per year.

Jeez I would'nt say bad luck Eddie rather bad luck the Saints, Gehrig has to be the most overrated player up for trade.

Whoever finishes up with him are going to have paid far too much. He is a guy who has played 10-12 good games in 5 years. He is not even consistent enough to be called inconsistent. Sainter, I hope for your teams sake you don't get him. Sirra is a far better player, as he has got ticker, unlike Gehrig who always seems to play for himself.

My understanding is that a lot of the West Coast players are not all that sad to see him go.

ArdenSt - after the way Gherig played in the 2nd half of the season, the eagles supporters aren't too sad to see him go. If he can re-start his AFL career at another club, thats great for him, but he was dragging us down in the end.
