Heard a rumour this was in the works and just recently read articles confirming that Milch is currently penning the conclusion to the Deadwood saga for HBO.

Being one of my faves of all time, can't wait for this.

Not sure how I feel about this.

Deadwood is in my top handful of favourite shows ever but it's been 10 years since it was taken off TV. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I just hope it's worth it.

The Deadwood movie is and will start filming this fall, according to Kim Dickens (who plays Joanie Stubbs).

It will revisit the characters as they return a decade later to celebrate South Dakota’s statehood.

Written by David Milch and to be directed by Daniel Minahan.
