Heard Cox on 6PR early this morning and SNF has just quoted what Coxy said ,

Cox - " waiting on the scan results this morning , wont train till late in the week but pretty sure Ill be fit to play "

cox as sub??

bring him on if we're in trouble or keep him on ice if we've got the game in the bag...

risky strategy?? too risky in such a big game??

I get the feeling that he'll probably play even if he isn't 100%

Of course he will. Inject him up and get him out there. It is a final after all and he is too important. Obviously won't play if he is well under, but if he is just a bit sore, he will play.

Not what you want, if a mid goes down, then we're far too tall. Plus he is hardly going to come in and provide us with much run. A much better strategy is to start him, play him a lot, resting Nic more and then sub him early in the third.

Raised this scenario a couple of weeks back, does anyone know if the surgery was really needed right then and there?

I assume it was but if anyone could confirm it would be good
I actually doubt he woul've been picked anyway. Would rather Lynch be that 2nd ruck this time of year, he is actually very effective around the ground anyway. Bring in another midsize (smith) and chuch Schoey forward.
