Kinda felt sorry for the bloke, he was almost a very very good cricketer. He could bat, he was more than handy with the ball and was a good catcher.
Didn't quite have the mental patience to score big as an opener but he should never have been playing their. He was a number 5/6 every day of the week.

And his body kept breaking down.

I remember when we beat Essendon in 2012 (who were 9-1) and how great it was at the time, but than I woke up and realised how s**t we really are and the losses continued after that. I'm sure Saints fans are doing the same this year.

Remember in 2012 when Melbourne rolled Essendon in round 10 for our first win and finished the season with 4 wins, yeah I remember that season with great fondness.
