Watched this guy pretty closely for a while
A few people had a whinge last year when i said he was one player i really disliked as a footballer on our list, i said he was lazy dumb poor skilled and selfish and after watching him this year in the 2s i stick to it

Today was one of the worst individual games ive seen from a player on our list this year he was a disgrace, walks around like his a king than struggles to touch it in the VFL , his man smashed him and when he wasnt half heartedly going after the ball , falling over, or kicking directly to opposition players he was more worried about pretending to be tough!

I hear alot of players on this board cop it week in week out but aslong as anyone is thinking about letting players go like Polak Tambling Hislop Mcguane Moore Thursfield Morton etc. This guy could just about be first out if he doesnt turn it around quickly

So heres the poll, Will Polo play another 20 games of senior AFL football with us or with anyone else

Someone here once said that they rate him highly at St.Kilda and they (Saints) couldn't understand why Wallace never picked him. I hope that was true and still is...we might get lucky and get something for the hack...

I didn't mind him for most of his career and thought he may have turned a corner when he played well against the Cats this year but i think he's on thin ice. If he can't break into our side now when we have had so many newbies cement a spot (Nason, Martin etc) he probably doesn't deserve a spot on our list.

He'll probably get delisted by us, but he'll get another shot at AFL level.
who would take him?

he cant get a game at a club sitting on 3 wins for the year 16th play and a shocking percentage im intrested to know who would look at him and in what role?

Never been a big wrap of him as a footballer, but only in recent times have I been suspicious about his attitude and character.

Would be surprised if he plays at AFL level again.

Other than a few nice things he was terrible today, seems to have hit rock bottom. He'll probably be traded or delisted at the end of the season.

He'll get drafted by someone because at the very least Gold Coast will have to invent 40-odd players out of thin air. Even if they poach one player from each club they still have to find another 24 players. And they wont draft 24 kids.

FWIW I thought Polo was Ok in the Carmichael Hunt game... But today he didn't go too well. I have not given up hope on him. I think there are worse players on the list.

I said YES. But not for us.

Always thought he would be a very good player for us, if nothing else as a great tagger (similar to Jones for St Kilda) but he just hasn't come on, doesn't work hard enough and is slow at decision making. A player with so much potential that imo might be helped by a change of scenery. Hopefully we can get some value for him and trade him, otherwise unfortunately he may need to be delisted or at worst get one more year (unsure of his contract details).

Looking forward to seeing Polo's demise. Will be glad to see him delisted. Only played one good game that was his first. If it was up to me he would not get anymore let alone 20.

He'll get his chance to play seniors again considering how we are going. We'll have to wait and see. I personally think he can make it if shown some faith. In saying that I was not at the game today and it sounds like it was a stinker . I know he is not the smartest tool in the shed.

He is in the best 22 but we are playing the kids before him.

He should be delisted this year but saying he didnt have 1 good game playing in the backline last year is wrong.

Sorry but that's just rubbish. Polo has played plenty of good games for this club, and I'm pretty disappionted to see so many sticking the boot into him. So he's played a few bad games in the 2's this year, so what. He's capable of playing good footy, and I hope he does to stick it up a few of the heroes on this board.

couldnt get a run under wallace, not much changed under hardwick so gone for me !
will have some currency butprobably very very late picks if thats any value
best thing would be if gc have an intrest which i doubt

should mould himself into becoming a tagger to have any chance to continue
seems like the type of player that williams/laidley could go for but the only players they would offer would be just as crap!
hislop, thomson, king, polo, polak, mcmahon any team that wants depth (gc)
can have all 6 for just 1 2nd round pick.
