Worse. The first 3 quarters were the most insipid football I've seen the Crows play in years. This was far worse than the Carlton shemozzle, which was our previous worst game this season.

The last quarter was nothing but junk time. Brad Scott will be ropeable with his team for taking their foot off our throats. This should have been a massive percentage booster for them - a 100+ point victory. To win by just 9 points after all their efforts in the first 3 quarters would be a bitter disappointment.

Embarrassing is the only word for the first 3 quarters. That is definitely the worst footy that we've played for many a year

We were playing a middle of the road club and we got absolutely smashed.

We never had the courage to take their zone on by accurate kicking and hard running. We were weak as p iss, going sideways, backwards, sideways, backwards etc etc until we lost the ball. Our skills and thought processes were rubbish - Riley and Bock are just 2 that did pissy littly mis-kicks that resulted in goals - U'9's level football.

Also we only had a handful of players who genuinely put their heart and soul into the game for 4 quarters. Petrenko, who is only a fringe player, embarrassed the majority of his team-mates with his courage and effort.

I don't think North Melbourne lay down in the last quarter though. They were tired fom running hard for 3 quarters to build up their 9 goal lead at three quarter time, whereas we tried something different to just jogging after the ooposition's bums, like actually getting the ball first.

Those players have a lot to answer for IMO. Gone is our reputation for being an honest club who always is extremely competitive.

We have become the easybeats. :thumbsd:

Why?

How can he make a rational decision if he doesn’t have his own cognitive process in order?

How will that help?

He doesn’t have to yell, scream and get in someone face to show his disappointment.

Disappointment ...?? I wish this was only disappointing! Analyse it all you like....that was a dog's breakfast out there for 3 quarters...

I don't want to "hear" any more rhetoric.

its coming, and it sickens me that we all know there will a small number of people - and we all know who they are - who will come in and tell us all about how it proves the gameplan works, how we have turned the corner, how it validates our training regime, how the players believe in craig etc etc etc.

which those who watched the game know is untrue, each and every point untrue.

as coopers says, the cue was well and truly in the rack.

we are the epitome of downhill skiers. only when the pressure is off can we build momentum.

we were as bad today as any game this season.

In the past I would have agreed with those people. I am a Craigy backer and thing that his gameplans (we have more than one) work, when the players are able to excute it.

But we dont have those players out there. And the guys that should know better are not stepping up. Time for Craigy to throw his game plan out for a few weeks and just tell em to play footy.

But we got close to winning because the boys were let loose. And North stopped.

That is it.

Why not start the game with that attitude. Geelong do.

possibly the worst memory of the game is of a 32 year old veteran running away from a 21 year old while bouncing the ball !

Me thinks #48 needs a few years on the Charlie Walsh bike regime, that should get some speed in his legs, errr shouldnt it !!?

haha... least of our issues. Harvey has elite speed still. No shame in that.

Yet people say Jaensch is quick. He would be one of the quicker blokes in our side however compared with the best in the comp he gets burnt easily. We seriously have no one that is speedy, and takes the game on. I'd love for Paddy to go on more of his solo runs however he hasn't got the tank/the ability to win the uncontested ball yet. He's always furrowing at the bottom of packs.

No shame for Jaensch I meant. Definitely an issue that we are missing elite pace in our side.

Just in support of Jaensch again - some others have mentioned he had already 'gut run' forward so probably nad little left to give in the tank.
