It’s been an unreal 30 odd years, I still remember how sexy you looked in those early 90s, I still have flashbacks to that autumn of 1993, that’s when I really fell deeply in love with you.
The 90s were amazing, every week was a gift, and what we shared in 96 and 99 was incredible.
We got through the heartbreak of 98 but you were always there for me.
March 2002 I thought might be the end but we pushed through, you showed me how resilient and loyal you are. Then in 2007 when you took that part time job up North I thought that was the end but people around us saved us and you came home. We were together again and nothing could ever stop us.
The mid 2010s were amazing, we were almost at our peak again, we loved like we hadn’t for almost two decades and we conquered things that got in our way but then you decided we needed to part way with a few of our loyal friends and we never really recovered
In 2018 we had wins against the odds, and in 2019 you finally got rid of that loser friend (I hear he lives in Tullamarine now ruining someone else’s life) but then Covid hit, you escaped the Vic lockdowns and to be honest when you came back you were never the same.
You had some work done and tried to excite me here and there with new shiny toys, but none of them have ever worked.
Let’s go down to Tassie in a few weeks and have one final fling but after that we are done.
