Dear Ricky Dyson

🥰 Love BigFooty? Join now for free.

had surgery on his wrist and missed the 1st two weeks of pre season and tore his hammy and missed the 1st 3 practice games.

THEY ARE BOTH FACTS.

good luck ricky for this week. you and your 21 team mates will need to play your best footy to get over the line.

cheers pig

Yes he did have surgery on his wrist but he didnt miss a much of the running work.He was at training and doing plenty of running with a small cast on his wrist Secondly he didnt tear a hammy. He had some tightness in his hammy and was on modified duties for a couple of week.
But hey given i saw just about every pre season training session and all the running work they did at Fawkner Park WTF would i know

As you can see with me, many fellow posters have agreed he had an injury interupted pre season. So I think you better start to attend more training sessions to realise what his happening at Windy Hill.

Did you and your fellow posters go to all the pre season training including the running drills at Fawkner Park ?
I did and i can tell you now he didnt miss much of the fitness work at all . Maybe all of your fellow posters should find out of someone who saw all the pre season training before you all jump in with your facts ;)

Get a life son.

Seriously, every training session?

Yes pretty much .
Dont see WTF it has to do with you if i choose to follow my footy club closely . It doesnt interfear with my work and my other half comes along with me most of the time so i dont see why i need to get a life. We enjoy football and love Essendon. Its not like i hang around annoying the players all the time like some do. I simply sit in the background and observe what is going on.
So Mr Bigshot i have a life that i like and im not your son as i am not some little kid. One could say you need to get a life if you have to read through threads on the opposition boards and feel you have to make comment on what people do with their time !

over all dyson is shit....fit or not. Hird is probaly not the fittest bloke in the league but he still manages to dominate every game he plays. Dyson can barely get a kick and when he does, does nothin with it. as i said good reserves player

just wanted to say that john mason is not my dad. so urp and grant dont tbe worried. we still love dyso.

and john your a tool.

You are a very funny (sad) man. I know exactly your kind. You are the nuff nuff supporter who hangs around football clubs and are quite often the but of players jokes.

keep up the good work tiger.

Do you still wear football boots to the games? seriously?

What kind of person are you?

If you're going to make judgements on us, perhaps you could give us a little information about yourself so we can stereotype you into your own "type"

Given the fact that nobody likes him id guess he's a lawyer. And he did come in swinging at all the dyson bashers so id say he's a friend of ricky or a family member, i'll take family member.

An older brother or cousin perhaps? Am i close grant?

Look i doubt that most of the players even know i am there. I know a couple of the players who say hello to me if they see me but thats it. I dont hang around waiting to talk to the players. I am not leaning over the fence at the front of every training run. I just sit up the back and mind my own business.

Anyway you have no idea who i am or what type i am. You can say i am a sad man but who are you to judge what i should do with my life. I am quite happily married , i have a good job that earns me a decent salary and puts me in charge of a number of people and gives me the freedom to persue something that interests me.
And seriously no i dont still wear my gooty foots to the game. Infact unlike you i have never worn my footy boots to a game.;)
You keep up the good work , or is that bad work as you have completly failed with your physco analysis :D

Well Done Ricky Dyson you kept your spot and so you should. You have amazing potential. This is the start of a brilliant career for Ricky Dyson :thumbsu::):D:cool:;)

Where did I question his preseason?
Where did I say he did a full preseason?

All I said is there is only so long that excuse can last.

Where did I sprout that comment as being fact?

Are you only reading what you want to read?

I know what is happening at Windy Hill and I don't need to attend training to do it. I actually have a job.

The facts are, preseason training doesn't teach a player how to run to position, it doesn't teach a player work rate, it doesn't teach a player footy smarts.

They are the things holding back Ricky Dyson, not that he hasn't done a full preseason the last three years.

If you bothered to remove your head from your backside, you would realise that perhaps there are some of us who are sick of making excuses for Dyson. Last year it was the lack of a preseason, the year before it was the same thing.

Now its a lack of a preseason again?

It's because he had a wrist injury (can't you run with a sore wrist) that he lacks the ability to work hard?

It's because of a wrist injury that he doesn't seem to be able to take the right option when he has the footy? That he doesn't know where to run, or when to carry the footy?

If you keep carrying on with this preseason, or lack there of crap, you'll end up with the sore wrist, because you're clearly playing with yourself.

How bout we just say that there is chance, the kid just isn't good enough?

Spot on.

Dyson is like a Damian Cupido. They both look smooth, skilled and in fantastic shape on the track and in reserves games...but push the PRESSURE button on em both while playing a league match and they can't decide what to do with the football quickly enough.

Some players can't handle the aggressive stuff either...Ricky has less guts than DC...and thats saying something.:o

Id say you are a fair way off there Rohan.

An improved effort but still not even close to good enough.

Had one really good quarter but spent the majority of the game ball watching.

He got dudded by the umps on a handball but the more I see of him the more I'm convinced that he is not up to it.

One of the few blokes that backed himself tonight. Has the ability to make it he just needs to build on that effort and not drop off next week. Confidence is a wonderful thing in footy and he would have got plenty of it tonight.

Nope. Gets lost and watches the ball too much.

Only gets into the play when it unfolds for him. Doesn't know how to make space or time or where to run.

Got involved in the second quarter but thats about it.

The problem with ball watchers is that they are always second to the ball and don't think enough about the game. They don't get it to their and the teams advantage often enough.

A vast improvement tonight, his work rate and intensity was where it needed to be. Booked himself a spot against the filth next saturday where he needs to build on that effort.

Still a loooong way off. Not up to it. He'll be torn a new one next week if he gets a game.
