Seeing all your posts this morning has put a real smile on my face. Last night our team went interstate to play our first final in 8 years and played a brilliant game and the better team won.

It warms my heart to see bitter West Coast supporters come over and rag on Judd to make themselves feel better. Essendon flogs come on over and trying to hide the fact that they got bent over Friday night for 110 points. Collingwood flogs trying to talk up standards. And the best of all, RICHMOND flogs who are all clearly experts and superstar footballers who might as well be writing for the Age when they can't even make a final and have Jarrad Oakley Nichols on their list.

We bowed out gracefully and have had a brilliant season and will only lift next year.

Agree 100%. Their attempts to troll merely bring a smile to my face. Especially when thinking that this afternoon we get to watch St Kilda vs Collingwood. What was the score last time oh yes, St. Kilda 128-40 Collingwood.

Anyway, win or lose last night this season has been a success in my eyes. And last night missing two of our key players Waite and Jamison and also possibly Warnock was really the only reason we lost. Brown and Bradshaw cut up against our 3rd and 4th defenders.

Also great game, well done Brisbane and if losing a final I would want it to be like. We gave them a very good run for their money.

Oh yes wise one, life is a journey and an achievement in itself, what carlton achieved last night was amazing, losing a 30 point lead with 15 minutes to go is something we should all sit back and really admire.

They'll learn from it so when they do get to a grand final they don't get the yips and throw it away

The complete opposite. They will be mentally stronger and handle such situations a lot better. Your club experienced heartache before becoming the great team they are today. St Kilda went through heartache last season and look how they have responded so far this season although I admit they haven't proven anything as yet until they at least get to the final game of the year.

Carlton of 1994 should have been there in the GF but they were bundled out with 2 straight losses to Melb and Geel. In 1995 they virtually coached themselves to premiership glory due to the heartache suffered the year before as well as losing the 93 GF. Their desire for success was so great that David Parkin had little influence as coach(by his own admission).

Coming from a Carlton supporter that's a bit rich. I mean, in 1986 you beat the two teams above you (including the eventual premiers) to get into the Grand Final and then fall over on the big day to none other than Hawthorn and throw it all away.

Great season from Ratts, and the Carlton Board (from prez to assistant coaches)
and a valiant effort from the lads last night, I think this is only gonna resolve them to achieve a lot more next year.
