via the Collingwood trade; Collingwood and Richmond have exchanged 2020 2nd rounder draft picks. However, the Pies owned not their own pick but that of St Kilda.

Richmond now owns the St kilda pick rather than their own.

assuming Richmond win the premiership and the saints comes last [a highly possible situation] the Tigers will enter the draft with picks 18 and 19. if the afl have had enough with charity handouts

Death to St Kilda.

Essentially you're right, but Collingwood have our 2nd not StKilda.

Gee that’s bloody interesting, I wonder if Coll forgot that it was actually the saints r2 when they picked up the phone 📞 when Hartley called

Well, I think the discussio may have gone like:

If you want Bianco as bad as we know you do, we will trade you 45 but we want the Saints second rounder. We will give you ours back. If not, Bianco goes at 45 either way.

Pies REALLY wanted him.

Saints will improve, as will other teams so it's really hard to say who will finish bottom 4. You can mount a case for all the teams that struggled this year...

Saints - Traded aggressively
Dees - What was the aberration, 2018 or 2019?
Freo - No more Ross Lyon
Adelaide - New coach bounce?
Carlton - SOS said so
Gold Coast - I'm actually surprisingly bullish about them. Looks like they may finally improve, got some senior bodies in, players re-signing and had lots of injuries this year. They'll get KPB Rory Thompson and Collins back. Half forwards Rankine, Ainsworth come back and Rowell should be ready made like Walsh.

Will be an interesting subplot to our B2B campaign... But not as interesting given its not a 1st round pick.

This is what will happen. St Kilda will finish last then Barrett will throw a hissy fit on Trade Radio and say the premiers shouldn’t get an early second round draft pick from the wooden spooners. He will then refer to a “secret herbs and spices” rule that only the AFL can see which results in us losing our early second round pick. Shane Savage will then leave St Kilda to go to the Gold Coast via Free Agency on a minimum wage contract over one year and St Kilda will be compensated an early second round draft pick.

FB: Geary - Howard - Webster
HB: Roberton - Carlisle - Wilkie
C: Hill - Ross - Savage
HF: Gresham - King - Billings
FF: Membrey - Marshall - Butler
R: Ryder - Steele - Hannebery
I: Jones - Dunstan - Clark - Battle

Small forward is the hardest spot to pick. Any of Long, Parker, Lonie or Kent could play. I could also see us dropping Wilkie to allow for another small forward with Savage playing half back.

Coffield first in for any injury/drop in form.

:moustache:

Really like the look of this team. If Ratts gets his plan up and running there is no reason we can't play finals.

:openmouth:

They'll fold. Therefore it becomes void.
gil's boys can't afford to let 'em fold. they need the numbers for telly purposes and he supports them.

they actually have quite a substantial untapped supporter base. a few wins and the great unwashed will return. a bit like us.;)
