I think we can nearly throw previous form lines out the window.

We almost need to start from scratch.

St Kilda looks good. The were alright at times against North to.

They have new players and more speed which clearly showed yesterday. Essendon with speed won again to albeit against Sydney

Its a new season but more importantly a new shortened format.

I would not be surprised if teams like St Kilda and Gold Coast with speed and youth bob up and challenge under the new contest which makes the premiership challenge that much more difficult and unpredictable.

Richmond could well have to win it a different way let alone with a different team if we win at all this year

Be nice if sydney can do the right thing tonight

Something people don't talk about is that the Cats typically have a much better 1st 1/2 year than 2nd half season. Old list playing 20 minute quarters in a season when the game has sped up. Hope they start to drop off and slide towards the bottom 8. Would be lovely and sweet

our biggest problem with Cats falling down the ladder is just how many s**t teams there are this year. I don’t know if it’s the rule changes but previous few season the last few spots in the 8 have been available down to 12/13, this year the following are absolute garbage

Norf
Pies
Hawks
Saints
Carlton
Bombers
Crows

GC are almost better by default and GWS similar despite being a rabble. Lions and Cats are in the 8 because of all these awful teams.

If Stkilda win they jump to 9th (our pick 28)
If the crows win they slump to as low as 14th (pick 23) if Gold Coast defeat Freo at home.
