A child who took and published unauthorized photos of men in compromising positions?

That’s a sex crime.

She should be on the register.

She was legal age.

yes, I understand 16 is the legal age of consent in Victoria.
she was under 18, which means she was still legally a minor. ergo, a child.

even if she wasn't a minor - publishing unauthorized photos is not a registrable offence in Victoria, so get your facts straight.
being sentenced for sexual performance involving a minor is... sound like anyone you know?

the wider question on why - in the situation of a 48yr old man (the same man who, incidentally, pleaded guilty to bashing a subsequent fiancée and served 200 hrs of community service) indulging in a extra-martial, drug-fuelled, sexually explicit affair with a minor - you choose to focus on and blame the child victim... well that says more about you than it does about the child involved IMO.

Steady on. I’m not supporting Nixon here, I just don’t support her being a victim when she’s the only one who committed a crime.

She’s a victim. No doubt about it. Nixon presented predatory grooming behaviour. She was a child.
Her actions regarding the photos scream of either a call for help in a tough situation or immaturity of how to deal with that situation. Neither motivation is the actions of adult decision making.

Please enlighten us.
Bitcoin bros see it as a universal store of value and through it's blockchain leger it's a decentralized platform for the transfer of value. Rather than one supported by the state or financial industry. They see it's success as being a diversion from the old ways. It's anarchist policy. Bitcoin has some issues at the moment around the speed and cost of it's transactions, they are slow and high, it's developing the lightning network to overcome those challenges help in it to compete with newer technology.

Ether does all of what bitcoin does and a bit more, it's network it setup to support smart contracts as well as the value of the token. Smart contracts allow for the transfer of information as well as the completion of contracts before settlement of teh deals.
Most Alt coins that are being released now use the ERC20 as it's base. Basically it's a good home for innovation in the crypto space.

Ripple is 3rd on the market cap, XRP the token is designed to be used by banks on its xRapid platform as an intermediary exchange. Their plan is to replace the SWIFT system of international transfers. Basically sending money overseas is expensive and takes days. XRP system can execute transactions across multiple currency in real time without the need of holding accounts. Companies like Moneygram, Apple pay and some big banks are trialing it. Unlike Bitcoin it doesn't aim to crush the state or institutions, just make them work better.

Some would suggest she groomed him .... for her own motivations of celebrity

Voted 18

Karma factor
But honestly think they're about 8- 10th

Try again Colonel, I merely pointed out that while both have committed morally deplorable actions, Nixon’s involved drugs and an underaged girl, putting his on the wrong side of the law, and therefore in a different league.

There was zero comparisons of anything other than their extra curricular activities.

Shame you didn’t use any of those reading skills you’re speaking of above yourself really.

Was she underage?

I'm not sure that's under the age of consent in Vic unless he was in a position of power.
Regardless of what the law is & it's inconsistent across the country, someone Ricky Nixon's age should not be involved with a minor. There are no exceptions.

The AFL has poached Melbourne's Rob Jackson to head its high performance program

MELBOURNE's high performance team has been raided by the AFL's umpiring department, with strength and conditioning manager Rob Jackson leaving to take charge of the AFL umpires' fitness program.

Jackson, who was the second in charge to elite performance manager Dave Misson at the Demons, will join the AFL umpiring team that recently appointed Grant Williams as its boss.

The Demons' staff and players were told of his departure on Monday morning.

Jackson joined Melbourne alongside Misson in 2012 following a two-year stint with the fitness guru under Ross Lyon at St Kilda.

He also previously worked at NRL club Melbourne Storm.

When asked about the switch, Jackson said he was looking forward to finally working with a group who he could push hard.

"To work with a group more renowned for their work ethic than image, and who will not take a backward step when handed a challenge at training is really exciting"

"Ive already had some conversations with a few of the guys, and Ray Chamberlain in particular said he for one would love a training camp to bond with the boys while getting sweaty and working hard together"
