I just hope you don't live the same life over and over ad infinitum without knowing it like one after death theory I heard. That is such a depressing thought.
Why ?
I would be happy to re live my life and pause and rewind some bits, fast forward through some others.

The problem is you don't know it. So you go through all the bad times and make the same mistakes you regret over and over.
I dont have any regrets I can think off.....,sure not buying "x" for peanuts and being rich now, but meh....life goes on,Ive got what I need
Bad times are really only deaths of loved ones, and pointless first world problems.
I would happyly re live my life

I just hope its 37 years after 2017 - 2054 - when Richmond win their next premiership because I'll be dead by then, and won't have to put up with Richmond fans saying how their team is the greatest sporting team in the history of the world, and the media fawning over the Tigers as though their flag is the most wonderful achievement in the history of Homo Sapiens.

I look at ex Senator Graham Richardson and his massive cancer battle which I believe led to most of his internal waist down and wonder in awe at his persistence and will to live

Doesn't scare me at all.

It will happen when it happens and no point worrying about it because that will just take away the enjoyment of the life I have now.
I think I look at death a lot differently now that I have attempted to take my own life before.
Hey Cager, hope you're doing okay now.
Shoot me a PM anytime if you find yourself struggling to deal with things again.
Also, good luck in Bay 13's Thread of the Year. May the best flog win. :)

If I don't die on my motorbike or some other accident before "my time" I want to go out doing heroin as an old man (maybe 80ish). Once I can no longer get out of the house on my own, play golf and handle boozing daily I'll work my way up on some hillbilly heroin then have one good hit on the old H then smack those veins with a deadly does whilst holding a photo album of my loved ones in one hand and a diary of my life in the other.
It’s supposed to be a very effective way to go. I was talking to someone who works in drug and alcohol counselling and they said the US should administer lethal doses of heroin for death row inmates if they want a non complicated and effective drug.
