Had he gone through the grades normally not a word would be said of a 95 rated horse winning on Boxing Day that hadn’t won in 2.5 years.

Put his career in reverse and it reads pretty simply, limited galloper who probably was raced out of his grade too often. 1 dimsenional get back horses always have bad strike rate but are mostly labeled cats.

No surprise that Mr Contrarian disagrees - it's also the fact he has loomed up to win on numerous occasions and gone looking for the milk.

He is hardly a one dimensional backmarker either

He is the exact definition of the racing cat.

Has been rated exactly 95 for 16 of his 31 starts. Found his level early by running to his best in stakes races.

Nice win from the best sprinter with the initials NS in Victoria :thumbsu:

If the Everest was at Caulfield and I was a slot holder I'd make a cheeky bid.

Err why has After All That come up $20+ in the second last at Randwick on Saturday? Surely a repeat of its run in the Shorts back on top of the ground and it goes extremely close to winning?

hurts reading,

was always a bad vibe around his condition, haven't seen the fall and probably don't want to, a lot of people getting around the family which is great.

Horrible stuff. I'm one of the first to stick the boots into a jock for a bad ride, but they do a great job 99% of the time under extreme conditions.

Hope he fully recovers and we see him riding again very soon.

Footage actually doesn't seem that bad - relatively speaking, no jockey fall looks great. But I guess the angle he fell at was the issue.

At Gawler cheering a couple of the old mans on. Jeez it’s a shocking meeting. No surprises with the turnout
Nice one.

Not much better than a day at the country races, used to me most weekends in another life.

Might sneak out to Nowra for the New Years twilight

Just Zerene the $800k purchase debuts tomorrow, paying $1.95 and needs to win to make the field for Magic Millions

Seems way too short for an unraced filly
