I wouldn't be surprised if Gawn had a bit of concussion after that little bully head-planted him into the hard surface over the boundary. He had a bruise on his head and seemed to be out of it for a fair while, albeit reappearing near the end.

Melbourne were being demolished when relying on their defence. Once the Demon's midfield started dominating the defensive weakness was no longer an issue.
Why?
Port are lucky they didn't run into the Dee's in the GF. They would have got 119'd.
Have to give it to Melbourne - that comeback and demolition was phenomenal. A well deserving team to win - less hate-able than a lot of other recent premiers.

Yes, that seemed pretty obvious. For a guy who had big tank questions for a long time, he seems to have overcome that very well. Since he is all burst power and effort, to maintain that all match is a great achievement.

Well deserved Demons. Happy for Goodwin too, he deserved that. Petracca was unreal, one of the best GF performances. Just an incredible midfield performance, some of the best attacking footy I have seen in quite a few years.
