starts this tuesday at 6:45pm on fox footy. it will be hosted by Robbo and it should be good. but can anyone tell me what it was like last year? i just wanna know.

That is great to know! Looks like all you people without Fox Footy are not going to be able to see it!! What a shame!

Yes and that is exaclty why I have spend the last 20 minutes on the phone to a very friendly guy from Foxtel and why on Sat we are having people here to hopefully install it!!
No way am I missing Robbo hosting DeeTV!!!

Saturday dear... this Saturday!
The guy on the phone was really nice, he was talking to me about school and stuff and I told him how badly I needed the footy channel bla bla bla and he goes look footy starts soon and I can tell you are a nice chick who loves her footy so how about I move one installation to next week and squeez you in on Saturday that way you can watch footy on Sunday!! He was soooo nice!! So yeah its Saturday!!
He also asked if I had anyone who I know would like Foxtel and if I told him he would give me a free footy pack and I go I don't know anyone honestly and he goes ok fine well I'll see if I can still giva ya the footy pack!! Hehehehehe

Well, that's just great. In a household with my dad, who reckons that pay-TV is absolutely worthless (why would you pay for your entertainment when we've already got a cable modem? - which I agree with).

But I guess they wanted a bigger audience than they could get on Channel 31.

Still doesn't make me "want my Foxtel" though.

Dee TV starts on March 26th. That's Tuesday week.

It was good on Channel 31, so i hope the Foxtel version is as good. It does take it away from some supporters though. Pity the club can't show it on Channel 31 as well as Fox Footy.

I think that's really disappointing!!

Even though we have Foxtel (and I get great value out of it because it has rugby league/union/soccer on as well) its disappointing not to have DeeTV on FTA tv.

I wonder how the Foxtel connections are going...when they installed ours, the Foxtel man said it was disappointing..wonder if they have increased the numbers now though.

my dad thought the same thing until i got a fox guide and showed him all his fave tv shows they r no longer on free to air and yeah........we got it, and along with my nagging. and bitching about how ill never see melbourne play. LOL my parents couldnt live with my nagging all footy season. theyd go insane.

Where is Dee TV filmed, though? I may try to get there sometime during the year.

I've been nagging to get Foxtel for AGEEEEEES!! I always told dad how good it is for him coz of all the news channels etc... and coz I wanted to watch the footy and than I read Robbo was hosting DeeTV which is no long on free to air TV so I decided its time I nagged harder and here I am....

foxtell is just excellent. we got it installed about a week ago and oh man its some funky stuff. heaps of cool programmes.

some nights there is nothing on and it gets real boring, real quick.

Personally, I won't watch DeeTV. Waste of time.

Well my house is a piece of sh#t and they can't install nothing until we get the electrician in to pull out all these power points or whatever lines they need and so now mum and dad are like ohh theres no rush, maybe later......... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

well its not as if u can sit there for 24 hours, cos there isnt always something to watch, but if you like ALL cheesy american shows then go for it.

lol, i would!!! i watch too much tv as it is - without foxtel! if i had the footy channel... ****, i wouldn't hear a word anyone ever said to me coz i'd be watching the telly waaay too much!
