No sanfl demanding profits now my friend. Sando is an agitator (aka demands success) so we can roll a couple of FY losses together to terminate his treacherous contract and appoint bicks. The top will remain, the bottom will be purged. We're potentially screwed for 2 decades if the current board do not resign and leave trigg hanging out on a limb.

No No and No!
This would perpetuate the boys club already at the club. IMO this mentality is what is directly creating the crap the club is in at the moment.
What are his credentials? What "right" does he have to be anointed?
Do people here forget that Sando was the Messiah in 2012?
How little we remember and how quickly we forget.
Until we acknowledge that the AFC is in a rebuilding phase then this garbage about sacking Sando will continue to emerge.
As for Trigg and Chapman.....!!!!!!!!! Another story.

Heard that KG has asked Roo to come on his show but Roo denied. Roo said he would come on if the crows are 0-6 then he would come out and say what he knows.

This clearly shows that there is something we don't know about and also a smart move by Roo not derailing the club anymore until he feels it is necessary.

Those issues are not going to go away after our next 3 games.

Those cracks will be wide open if we lose all 3 games, however if we win 2 or 3 of them - it's just icing over the top.

They won't go anywhere, if Rupert knows something, he needs to speak up.

How would you know that?

Heard Rowie on the radio when I was driving home today.

Everything is going great in SA footy right now.

Well that's it guys, case closed. Lock the thread. Everything is fine.

Did McDermott ask him to explain why he thinks SA footy is strong? Seriously, how do people listen to this rubbish, it's cringable.

Rowie and McDermott.....

Hard hitting, inquisitive, relentless......

Ah who am I kidding.

i think that they would have people that leave the club signing some sort of confidentiality agreement

Doubtful. While playing you and the club (Tippett the notable exception) are covered by the terms of standard player contracts. Any form of nda would likely be a separate agreement, however, there would need to be a solid reason to get you to sign when you're about to leave the club. There could be some limiting of disclosure of clubs IP in the standard contracts, however, if it's about the coach shagging the physio, I doubt it's covered.

jenny61_99 do you recall whether the bombers supplement program came with a NDA. I recall the waiver, but can't recall reimers getting reamed over breaking any confidentiality terms.

Problem being you have just named our 4 best players, and in any other given top 6 side Id probably consider 2 of them slightly overrated, harsh as this may sound.
I could throw on another half a dozen at least from the Geelong squad listed above which we`d all consider superstars if playing in the tri-color.

Who are these young guns you speak of which compare to the likes of Bartel, Ling, Mackie, Milburn, Kelly,Stevie J, etc at similar stages of their career?
Besides B.Crouch,Betts and perhaps Grigg if he gets his work rate sorted, our list lacks anyone else I expect to reach this caliber of player.
Guys like Henderson,Smith,Jacobs and anyone else whos arses we all love to blow hot air up, may impact the ALF world as much as Cam Mooney ever did if we are very very lucky.
The thing is a lot of Geelong people would have been saying the same thing about thoes players in 2006. But this is all a moot point as we won't get the review we need to get the right people at the club to get the best out of them like Geelong did. I believe we have the cattle or at least enough to be pushing a lot higher than we are. We just don't have the footy department or admin team to get us there.

No doubt about it we are under performing but i don't believe we have the talent or depth to be a genuine top 4 team.

It's funny listening to Roo at the moment. Dittmar obviously knows how much Roo knows and just keeps niggling away.

All the time in the world for Roo, but he's another part of the problem. Favourite son of the club, now with a media job reliant upon access to the club. He's not going to expose anything unless he decides to move to Vic to further his media career.

Is there noone in this pissant town willing/able to do some hard journalism?

I don't think Roo has much to be honest. The reason I say this is that if it was dead serious and involving the playing group Roo would simply have not brought it up or indicated something is wrong. However I think that's where he draws the line. The coaches box is another matter and perhaps he has "Mail" some of our coaches aren't getting along since the dynamic of the box has changed due to Baileys death.

This post is for Jai Bednall from that quality rag the Advertiser because it's quite obvious by today's article you read this board. Perhaps you could out yourself and let us know which poster you are.

A couple of points:

Perhaps to balance your article you could go through our history and tell us after starting 0-3 how many times we won the premiership, but would they support your assertion of knee jerk reactions?

You also fail to comprehend that given the loss of recent players and draft picks the doom and gloom is justified.

You touch on Trigg but don't elaborate. Why not? You obviously know what our concerns are, why not devote an article to spelling them out?

He was back pedalling because KT sent him an email after he called out Port Power for being FOS about the 50000 members. I took it as a nothing statement to appease KT but he still actually thought the 50k is smoke and mirrors.

I think the use of the 3 game memberships (They aren't Effing MEMBERSHIPS for a start, Its a fancy Effing name for a 3 game package) totals in the overall membership count is misleading. It creates this fantastic image of success and growth when it simply isn't their. The Crows numbers, according to Rowie, 44,000 season ticket holders and Port 28,000 are the numbers that should be reported. It is clear Port benefited from the first game hype and sold a bucket load of 3 game packages to both Port and Crows supporters. Are Ports member numbers going to drop back down after the 3rd game, no of course not. Its manipulative.

Unless the crows figure jumped about 17k in a month the 44k figure is imcorrect. Rowe made that one up in one of his typical rants.

Adelaide will lead the AFL in 11-game membership sales this season with around 27,000. But the Crows intend to re-establish a waiting list for these full memberships while following Collingwood’s path of holding back more seats for three-game members.

“Those three-game memberships allow us to expose more and more people to our games at Adelaide Oval,” Trigg said.

Based on numbers in that article your 11 game would be about 30k. Of course that article is only slightly more reliable than Rowes circle jerk.

I'm not saying we will end up like the Cats, but what I am saying is, talent and skill and ability doesn't just disappear.

Our problem isnt so much talent as it is that our talent is on the sidelines - inside about 5 weeks we should be getting back about 4-5 players that will make our team a much stronger one. We have clearly demonstrated we dont bat deep and that our depth is very shallow especially against good clubs.

Our best team (minus 2) is about the most we can afford to lose and those minus two cannot be the fab 5 - Tex, Danger, Sloane, Talia and Crouch.

I am sure had we hit the start of last season with a solid preseason we would have hit 2013 a lot harder and would have crawled over the line into the 8, even with losing Tex, we should have easily won the first showdown and losing 5 other games by less than 2 kicks didnt help either. In addition we lost for the majority of last season all our forward options - No Tex, Tippett and Porps and Nutter were finished as players.

in 2001 we had Roo, Goody, McLeod, Edwards... bit of a different talent pool

interesting quotes from Deb Miller too today re the smokescreens and mirrors... looks like she was replaced to put another of Chapmans puppets on the Board. Kate gould is from an arts background... someone had to tell her Adelaide Oval was just behind the Festival Centre! she was also responsible for last weeks opening home game, pre show debacle.

It's not a smart move at all. And it makes no sense. Why is 0-6 suddenly the magic number? In our predicament what difference does another three losses or wins make? If we're 1-5 or 2-4 or 3-3 all of a sudden the sins of our admin aren't an issue anymore?

That makes about as much sense as saying I have a broken arm but I'm not going to the doctor until I have two broken arms. And a penile rash.

Roo - put up or shut up. For ****'s sake.
