Deeper problems than we know?

Was watching talking footy and the duck was talking about Adelaide. He was saying that he believes the problems go alot deeper than just out of form and injuries. He thinks its an unhappy camp that has suffered from exodus of players, tippettgate, Matt Rendell, Triggy etc. I think there is some truth to it. Rowie also said on AA that after the Geelong loss Sando went off bigtime at the players and it got pretty bad. Apparently a few players didnt take it well and it took the whole week for things to settle down.
I look back to the Sydney games last year where if out team had pride they would have gone into that game to prove a point to Sydney after all the Tippett shit, yet they layed down and got smashed. They didnt care at all. Now alot of people tried to shout me down about it but i maintain it tells you something.
It is way more than injuries and form/fitness. There is either a division in the playing group, a division between the coaching group and players or the atmosphere at the club is toxic.

it's been pretty obvious if you ask me, the players have lost faith. Interesting you say Sando went off after the Geelong game, suppose the players can't handle that from their best mate? He doesn't know what to do anymore, completely out of answers.

Brodie Smith obviously didn't think the "atmosphere" was too toxic to re-sign for a further 2 years???

And so what if some of the players didn't take it so well copping a spray after such a dismal performance......that says a lot more about those "individual" players than it does about Sando!!! Not only are they playing like soft ***** their acting like soft *****!!

1. Why does Reilly come out and publicly plead for players to start playing for each other

2. Why do players not give a shit that Danger is battered for 3 weeks running. He's been good for a few years now and it's never happened before - suddenly it's open season

3. Just before 3/4 time Sando is on the boundary waving wildly for players to run back and defend. Really ? Is this u/10's ? Clearly there were players not chasing back and he could see it. Of course the inevitable happened and they get a soft clearance goal

Our admin set us back in a very considerable way. We are 1 club, we are a group of individuals working towards a common goal. To achieve that goal we will need to cast off incompetence and mediocrity along the journey. We did it with Bernie Vince and were prepared to do it with other non-performers at footy level. All the while, whilst undertaking this monumental challenge, we allow the admin to completely **** up what they do. There is no dis-connect, the admin are a part of the club. It's actually worse, they set the benchmarks and they, themselves are rank failures. Does anyone really think that the players 'just play footy, duh'.

We are screwed and trigg was the primary reason. But that changed when the board chose to keep him on and accept greater penalties to save their own incompetent skins.

If I was Sando this week I'd go down to Woollies and but 22 personal mirrors and tell all the players to go have a good, hard look at themselves!!

No sanfl demanding profits now my friend. Sando is an agitator (aka demands success) so we can roll a couple of FY losses together to terminate his treacherous contract and appoint bicks. The top will remain, the bottom will be purged. We're potentially screwed for 2 decades if the current board do not resign and leave trigg hanging out on a limb.

Nope - With the move the Adelaide Oval and the club allegedly being $4 million better off.

they will have some difficult questions to answer if we don't turn a profit.

Any professional sportsman who is a member of a team that puts these issues ahead of pride in his own performance and that of his team mates doesn't deserve his pay cheque.

You know our playing group has form for it. They had no problem hanging Craigy out to dry with enormous losses against St Kilda and Melbourne when they wanted change. In fact its fairly standard practice. See, eg, west coast going on strike against us in the final round last year when their board was considering re-signing woosha.

People can whinge that its not fair to blame the coach. But at the end of the day a coach has lots of duties but no more important than winning the faith and belief of his players. You can't do anything at all without it.

I would be furious though if we sacked Sando and that smug **** Trigg that caused half his problems stayed on.
