Good post mate, however one J. Brown i think isn't consistent enough to be a champion yet, and i know i will be criticised for this. Brown has not been consistent enough and really doesnt suit your own criteria of being a proven gun for a number of years

Also ad C.Grant to that list of legends.

J Brown = most desirable player in the league = gun

I would prefer Pavlich ahead opf Brown. More consistent, doesnt get suspended and is just as good as brown up forward, but can also play down back if needed or be a big bodied midfielder.
Looking at that i cant see why people prefer brown to pavlich....
