I watched it. Is that honestly the best you could find of him?

Deledio was flat footed, quite easy to break through a tackle when you're going through with pace, and he was about 15 metres out from goal.

firstly, i made no comment whatsoever about the clip. you were the one who accused a fellow poster of putting in a frame where a goal umpire was signalling a goal when it wasn't supposed to be there. all i did was prove to you that that piece of play was in fact a goal. i never said that was the best i could find of him nor did i use it to talk him up.

a) That comment was obviously tongue in cheek. Sorry for not making that clearer

b) the 'talking up' part was more aimed at parrot getting a hard on over that particular piece of play earlier on. Gibbs has done multiple things 20 times as good as that. That particular instance wasn't anything special.

i dont agree with that. deledio is as classy as they come and dont put him in a group with mark murphy thats insulting

I agree that Deledio is a classy player but you've clearly never seen Bryce Gibbs. Trust me, saying Gibbs has more finesse is no insult.

Deledio is better than Murphy and they are different players but they have their similarities. FWIW I think all it will take is a slight increase in field kicking & finishing inside the 50 and a lot more people will appreciate how good Murphy is.
