Delist Richo!

I'm not a Richmond supporter. But from what I've seen i think Richo has been a fantastic player for your club. He's had alot of problems in front of the big sticks but when you think about it, most players wouldnt be able to take half the marks Richo has and wouldnt even get to have the shots in the first place.

Not a Richmond fan either, but I do have a soft spot for them. Richo is a great mark, perhaps one of the best marks I've seen. But he just can't kick the goals when he needs to. It is really deflating for the team to do all this great work, get it to Richo who takes a great mark, but then see him kick a point. Under those circumstances, he does more harm than good.

I've seen a few full forwards destroy Essendon over the years, and how they have raised their team in the process. The likes of Fevola are great because when there teams are down, they kick a crunch goal and then everyone lifts. I could never imagine Richo being that type of player. So if he can't be traded, I'll keep him in the backline.

As for deleting the thread? Grow up. Just have your say and move on. It wouldn't be the first time Richmond fans have debated Richo's merits. He has been dividing opinions for a decade.

Tiger champ or not, should never have been offered a two year contract at his age. Another ridiculous Miller contract.

Whilst he's been OK this year the signs are clear that he's not the player of old.

Would not be surprised to see him pull the pin at all.

Definition of innovation. Publicise that we are not in the picture for 2011.

Our senior players weren't giving us much before Wallace arrived either.
He's given them every opportunity in the past two years but in the end are again taking us nowhere.

he has, but he hasnt. That is what is baffling. Whats the difference in telling Gas he is not part of the future and suggesting that the now senior players are not part of the 2011 future? nothing. So they are playing for the cash.
If they werent then they would have insisted that they club dont pay them for last week. But they didnt. So when the slumber party talk about wanting players to stand up this week, see who wants in and bleeds for the jumper etc etc, those who didnt say, hey listen i didnt earn my money last week, so you know that 300 thou or so contract i have, dont pay me this week, because i really am bleeding.
FFS wake up, its all about the money now.

I see a lot of Richmond every year, since it's the team most of my family support and I still have a soft spot for them. Richo is about the only one of your guys that looks like he's putting everything in week in, week out. He's the kind of guy that people go to the footy to watch. Statistically, his accuracy is actually quite good. The difficulty is he tends to play well in the games which count for nothing (eg versus Essendon last year, even then he played most of that game on Kepler Bradley who at times looks like the worst player in the comp).

Richo is good for your club and if it came to a choice between Richo and the used car salesman I know who I'd pick.

Time for a big clean out at Punt Rd and that means Richo has to be boned!!!
No time for sentiment when the club is a rabble and another couple of years of performances like this, will see the old Save our Skins tins come out of storage!!!

Why would you bother "boning" Richo at this point?

Apart from the fact they probably need to do something to appease the fans to keep their jobs (and Richo is "the face of Richmond" for better or worse) so keeping Richo keeps the fans happy there is also the fact that he has accepted whatever job TW has given him this year. When we wanted to se if a Richoless forward line could function against the Weagles he did as told and stayed out of the way of the youngsters. When TW asked him to throw himself into the ruck and get absolutely smashed he did so.

There are a lot of mediocre players who need to be "boned" before Richo. Having said that I think he needs to be moved permanently to a HFF and told he cannot lead in front of Hughes or Schulz so he becomes the third option rather than the first.
