doesnt really matter what age u started adam goodes started when he was 14
Most high draft picks are playing in state teams by the time they're 15 years old and are well entrenched in the football system. Doesn't mean that starting late means you can't be any good as a player, just that you re starting from further back. Explains why wellingham was only selected as a rookie and also why goodes wasn't selected until the third round in his draft year and took a year to get into the swans senior side

Just the wrong type of porn.
EH..... can i have your thought on Jackson Ramsay..... East Perth colts were going gangbusters early 2102 and this guy was BOG but got injured.... got bundles of talent and plenty of speed.... play back and runs forward and kicks a goal.... not ready to go 2013 but could be there when Kerr, Embley and Selwood have gone and jeez he does look like he can play.

Not sure how this post relates to porn?

We have a fresh new RDT up in the Nest. Can we keep this thread at least loosely connected to football?
But Mr E got the bl00dy numbering completely balls up as opposed to slightly balls up...
..and Rick Astley is on the radio.

In any case, found it interesting that Wellers said he played out of position this season, will be interesting to see how he goes if we play him more in the midfield, which is what I think may happen. He was great in 2011 doing that for the pies.

Been reading Kevin Sheehans Top 30.
He has only 9 dedicated midfieders going in the top30.
Then read Inside Footballs Draft Profiles.
They suggest that only a further eight midfielders will go in the remainder of round 2 to round 4.
That translates to only 17 midfielders tipped to be picked in the first 4 rounds of the draft.
Not a good sign that the draft is deep in midfielders.

How do you guys fancy Dean Towers? Mature aged winger with great leap and pace, in the Isaac Smith mould. Could he possibly be the long awaited successor to Peter Matera?

Didn't realise he was such a late starter to football. Said he was 15 before he played regularly which partly explains why he was only a rookie list selection
He was playing fairly regularly before then. I was playing with him. Was one of those who didn't come to training every week and thus wasn't chosen every weekend but he'd play at least every 2nd game. Didnt take it as seriously as some others, maybe thats what he's alluding to
