Just done a quick ladder predictor having a quick look I think we will finish between 10-13th which will mean we will have pick 11-6 trade brown plus our first rounder for saints 1st and second round pick?

Might be worth going 4 rounds.

Shepp and Smith won't be going anywhere.
There's probably only 1 or 2 50+ gamers per year after pick 50, if that. Given the AFL's penchant for magical draft picks from thin air pick 50 will likely be our third rounder.

TBH, I'd be surprised if any of the things I mentioned happen. It's just hypothetically what I'd do at this stage of the year if I was god of the WCE list.

Yeah broken collarbone pretty sure. Not good for WA but won't have an impact on his draft position, has more than made his mark already. Classy user of the ball and very tough with some good pace. Best option for our needs imo

Sounds like we need to get Sheed a tent and a lady-friend.
On a side note, was sitting near the Bombers cheer squad last night and a few of them were yelling out

"Why don't you rape another girl Darling!"

Now I know most of them are probably not used to getting a bj without paying for it, but there is such a thing called consensual sex.

went to the game today. pretty dull game with only one standout (sheed). mcarthy was good, his hands are like glue and he kicks straight. sheed was dominant in the stoppages, but funnily enough i think we can do better than take him with our first pick....crouch was quiet, didn't notice marsh much, number 45 made me laugh every time he came to the boundary.....
waterman was probably the most rotated player and his performance suffered as a result. was always marked closely and could've been on the end of many handballs out of congestion, but the lack of poise of most of his team mates meant they just blindly spanked a tumbler forward most of the time. he is a very balanced and one grab player, but must work on fitness. but he'll be v good. also , number 36 for vc marked everything and kicked a bag of 4 or 5.

Just saw Sheed in the U 18 comp today and I can see why all the talk about him, unfortunately for us he looks like top 3 good, and out of our reach.
Aish, Boyd, Scharenberg seem to be the popular top three.

I think we will end up with pick 7 this year.
So you see Adelaide and Gold Coast finishing above us. Fair chance of that happening if we lose next week.

Whats your opinion of Tom Hodgson as a small defender?

I said might, you delist them after a short turn around if need be.

Not anymore. Broken collarbone may hurt his ranking.
True that. Hopefully we can get him to say a bunch of pro-WA things to scare off Vic recruiters, too :p between that and the collarbone, should leave us with only Freo as first round opposition.
