Aish, Boyd, Scharenberg seem to be the popular top three.

So you see Adelaide and Gold Coast finishing above us. Fair chance of that happening if we lose next week.

Whats your opinion of Tom Hodgson as a small defender?

Yea like what i have seen so far on Hodgson although very happy with how Bennell is progressing.
Like you not a fan of Clem Smith at all kicking is shocking.
Acres popped his shoulder again so will be out for a while may need a reco, I really want him EH.

I don't know much about Acres. Inside/outside?

Gun mid with a dodgy shoulder? This seem familiar and I like where it is going.

Acres is both inside/outside more outside at the moment because of his shoulder problems 188cm lovely kick 16 beep 2.90 for 20m
How would you rank Sheed, Garlett and Acres in terms of your preferences? Knowing we may end up with 2 of them at best.

Sheed won't slide. A broken collarbone will affect his placing about as much as Plowman's bad elbow affected his. He's clearly too talented to be selected outside the top 5.

Dayle Garlett still my tip for your first pick.

First time I've heard him described as top 5.

Who knows, we could still end up with a good enough pick yet. ;)

Where Adelaide finish is of no/little consequence to any club, for they're out of the first two rounds of the draft, this year and next.

Sheed is a safe pick but there are other WA players such as Acres, Marsh and Robertson who are bigger, more athletic and may have more upside. Its not the end of the world if we miss out on him.

Sheed looks a good prospect, just what we need, will probably miss out because we won't have a low enough pick, GWS or some other hack ES outfit will snaffle him just like all the other brilliant WA juniors of recent years except Darling.

Before he was drafted, was it Yarren that stated he'd rather stay in WA because his father was in gaol? Not sure if this is still applicable but if it is, would be a huge draw for him to come home.

Garlett is a better talent than Sheed, weather you would use a first round pick is debatable at this stage.
I rather have Acres on our list than Sheed at this stage.
Sheed is one paced but is a good kick and kicks goals as a mid, he also has great smarts.
Sheed will be very good but is similar, to what we have, and we need pace.
