Ok mate, you keep your pick #6 and a 28yr old midfielder who didn't want to be there and Ill take the 10+ year's of arguably the best young key forward going around who was the clear #1 pick last year.

Who cares how much money he is on? how does that even matter? If they have the cash available right now who cares if they spend it. Your cap doesn't roll over into next years budget... they haven't mortgaged there future like Sydney it's only a 4 year contract.
It's actually 7 years

Said exactly the same thing about Tomahawk when he got drafted. Guess what, he wasn't. And he's getting paid Buddy Franklin money. Watch this fall flat on its face...

What's Libba gonna ask for when his contract comes up? Macrae?

Oh yeah, it's not 4 years, it $7m/7yrs.

I thought it was a seven year contract.

Ah, I see. Well Skype costs nothing and thermal under-wear is cheap....

But seriously, and if true, declaring a state preferance so early in his career might not be the smartest move.

I dunno, I think that the Boyd trade was not that bad from the Bulldogs. They are certainly paying overs for him at the moment. On a purely financial basis it is likely they will be for the duration, but if Petracca was available next year and the eagles threw Selwood, their first pick and 7 years at 7 million at him I am not certain that I would be upset by that.

Oh well, since my rumour of the Saints/GWs mega-picks trade didn't go through, all that's left of me is to trawl the Eagles board for posters telling us that Masten's pre-season means he's finally ready to become elite.
That was last pre season ... he trained the house down .. whatever that means

Vozzo says Griffen, Beams had no intention of coming to WA - not surprising.

Unable to convince Varcoe and his partner to move west.

Draft focus will be 'midfielders' - vague answer, didn't give a lot away.

Looking to see the outcome of this trade period before they make final list decisions - on question about Carter, Wilson.

Josh Hill retained, best is very good but inconsistent. One year reflects where he is at.

He spoke a little bit about the geography situation as far as trades go at the start, didn't catch it though.

Fair enough Last thing you wanna do is rate the players you want before the draft in case you convince every pick before yours your picks are better

Not a fan of Tunbridge?

Don't think he's worth persisting with for one more year?
Not really TBH.

Averaged 13 touches a game in the WAFL in 2014. To go with his cumulative total of 18 touches from his 4 games at AFL level.

I could forgive all those stats, which we know aren't the be all and end all, if i hadn't seen every one of his uninspiring AFL performances. Very lethargic and running at low intensity, fumbling and just generally.... bleh.

He'll always have that one goal highlight from 2013 but as far as i'm concerned, another year is a wasted spot on the list.
