Agreed, was thinking that myself and apologies for contributing to it.
So, how 'bout this rookie draft?
Newman
Johnson
Templeton
Weller, I reckon it's worth having a punt on him.

Notte?
Honestly think he'd be worth a punt

Do you mean Johnson from West Perth?

If I had to pick my ideal 3 it'd be Templeton, Battersby, Newman.

It's not just ideals it's common sense tesser. It's an ugly term and doesn't need to be used. Surely people are smart enough to think of an adequate term to replace it. Surely?

It's not a matter of common sense, but rather, a matter of common use. "Ugly term" is subjective. As previously discussed, folks have used an alternative, but that, too, was rejected. No amount of re-wording is going to appease those with touchy sensibilities.

Blaine? Liked what I saw of him in U18s. Battersby, forgot about him.... No love for Weller?

The mods are being too nice. So I'll say what they are thinking...

FFS. Shut the **** up.

I cannot understand any context other than the literal context. The term makes no sense to me in anything but the literal context and I don't see how that context is relevant in the way in which it is used. Maybe that's just me.

Sorry an ABC foreign affairs journalist used the term "bent over" in relation to Abbott and Indonesian spy scandal. So if aunty says it's ok, then it's ok. ;)

Ah sorry I was thinking of the wrong Johnson. I don't know much about Weller tbh. A few other clubs are pretty keen on him aren't they?

Johnson is a dinosaur from a bygone era of football of small sub 190cm power forwards. I doubt he'll get drafted.

Weller is expected to land at StKilda. Not sure why we'd pursue his type given his age and attributes.

This is all you have to resort with when you have nothing intelligent to contribute. That's why I feel sorry for you. I also find this comment of yours ironic given the current discussion is about censorship. Someone of even average intelligence would've considered this before posting such a comment.
But if abuse is all that comes to mind when thinking of an angle to have a go at me with, go for your life. I have conflicting feelings at such attempts as yours. I find it sad and amusing at the same time.

I'm sorry tesser, I don't like the expression and don't think it's required. As I pointed out, there are many other, probably more suitable and relevant, expressions to use.
The term rape means a sexual assault against another person without their consent. Not a particularly nice act and the term certainly doesn't engender positive responses.
In this particular context how does one 'rape' the draft?
I'd prefer the term not to be used, to be honest.

Its a bit of a non issue don't know why we are talking about it but in the context i used it, its just a phrase in common usage.

2. raping
What people type on the internet when they mean "rapping." Adds a whole different context to the sentence i.e. the person in question is renowned for his style of raping.
I love your raping ! ! your the next white raper ! ! (sic)

Lol.
