I like Clem Smith with our second pick, purely because no one else does...

I started my week on Saturday (I usually have Saturday off) so I would finish by Thursday. Today's also my cheat day. It's a great day, what a time to be alive. This is exactly what im doing no joke, except my sesh will be longer
I think we're in a pretty plumb position.
I imagine the top 10 locks are: McCain, Petracca, Brayshaw, Pickett and Moore.
This means we'll get one of: Degoey, Weller, Cockatoo, Levarde, Duggan or Ahern.
When you consider that a few of Goddard, Wright, Durdin and Marchbank should push the top 10, you realise we'll probably get our pick of 2, 3 or 4 of those guys.
There's no way this draft is ending with me unhappy with our first choice.

Yes the news about artery damage seems worse all the time . very sadwith the risk of derailing this thread, i dont even give a **** about the draft anymore after hearing the sad news about Phil Hughes. **** the draft. it means nothing. life has just been put in perspective

RIP Hughes![]()
Just reported Cockatoo flown in to Brisbane, with Cats looking the likely suitors!!
If true that's great manoeuvring by Geelong to park in front of Wce to target Pickett and now Cockatoo ,Looks like to much detail was given when Wce were chasing Varcoe .
Durdin has also gone up to the Gold Coast, and Geelong are also keen on him, so they may be going contingencies in the unlikely event Durdin goes earlier. If true that's great manoeuvring by Geelong to park in front of Wce to target Pickett and now Cockatoo ,Looks like to much detail was given when Wce were chasing Varcoe .

Sheehan described exciting midfielder Nakia Cockatoo, who missed most of the year due to a foot injury, as a draft bolter after an extremely strong finish to 2014 that also saw him test very well at October's combine.
"He is one with a bullet," Sheehan said. "He would have been [looking at being picked up at the draft's] backend probably a month before the end of the year because he hadn't played ... he has rocketed right up into contention. He's got all that magical ability."
Sheehan believed Petracca, McCartin, ruckman PETER WRIGHT and midfielders Angus Brayshaw and Jarrod Pickett would, in no particular order, be this year's top five draft picks.
WHICH ONE ABOVE WILL END AT PIES HAHA 1 McCartin 2 Brayshaw 3 WRIGHT 4 Pickett 5 PETRACCA? The demons were becoming really interested in taking a a mid and a tall rather than 2 mids and peter wright was seriously linked. petracca could slide further if pies want degoey or laverde getting excited with this info geelong could have other mids to choose from
