I don't see the point of delisting Seaby if we're going to pick up another mid-20s hack for ruckman depth. I think delisting Seaby was a mistake to be honest. We should have kept him for another year or two and taken a ruckman with our first or second pick this year and develop him.

We need ruck depth to replace Seaby's departure and I think it would have to be someone who is ready to step in if required and not some skinny 18 year old.
Agree we need to be looking at a ruck but I think we can bank one from the draft or scour a young one from the VFL/SANFL/WAFL who's had some exposure but may need a seasons afl body work. If we can land depth great if not to the draft. Cam Wood does not excite me.

Collingwood just delisted a few players, I think Cam Wood (as ruck backup) and Luke Rounds (half-forward/tagger) could be worth looking at.
Grim's a/c has been hacked?

I can scarcely believe my eyes you would consider Cam Wood. He could supply a dozen McDonalds with fries for a month...

Toy leaving Gold Coast is due to him wanting to return to Victoria so I doubt Sydney would bother trying to coax him out of doing that or snatching him away from a Vic club.

Matthew Panos (just been delisted by the Dogs) could be worth a look. Sounded like he was doing OK in the VFL this year and was an AA as an 18yo.

Tom Gillies from Geelong, KPD, was second in line to the great Matthew Scarlett. Wanted to leave the Cats last year but was not traded in case Scarlett went down (which inevitably happened) but was in and out of the side and never given the opportunity really. Worth a shot considering our backs have had a dream run with injury (and Grundy's suspension).

What about Reimers from Essendon. Seems like a bit of a flog, but 69 goals in 60 games says the bloke does have a bit of ability. Only 23. If he isn't picked up by someone there must be serious attitude issues or perhaps he doesnt want to play.

His type of player is probably not what we need, but you can never have too many goal kickers.

I'd rather Reimers at GWS Tombomb.

Can't see us giving him a chance.

Whilst he was impressive at under 18's level to some extent he got most of his goals by out muscling smaller players.

Lacks the ability to play several positions and is arguably not big enough to be a KPF at AFL level.

Whilst I had some hope around the time he was drafted he could be a very good payer at AFL level (A leading forward similar to perhaps Edwards) he really doesn't have the speed or the versatility to play at AFL level, and was only solid at VFL level for Williamstown this year.

He is still a wonderful kick for goal... but apart from that really doesn't have a lot going for him (Unless he can gain another coupe of metres off the mark).
