GWS are contending and we have no key positions, someone is wrong about this guy, hope it's not us

You could be onto somethingWith Mumford gone and Lobe still fairly iffy maybe they are thinking some ruck time ?? I dunno, I wouldn't have thought Mr Keefe suited the Giants precision kicking and run game style... but wtf do I know..
Ned Guy is on a golden wicket right now. Do absolutely nothing and he still looks like a major upgrade.Agree with all that. The Mayne call has changed a lot! (hopefully anyway...lets see the early days of Ned Guy's reign)
Not s fan, rookie listed at Port sounds OK for him, potential best 22 but plenty ahead of him. This is an interesting one guys.
How much do we not want Lindsay Thomas?
I personally would rather play Jarryd Blair in the Leigh Brown role all next year than have this poser on our list.

I have it on good authority that he made a real arseclown of himself around the club (and with North fans and kids) last year because he wasn't getting a regular AFL gig.Not s fan, rookie listed at Port sounds OK for him, potential best 22 but plenty ahead of him.
Could not see us interested in any way, Kirby, Elliott, Fasolo, Daicos, Brown, Crocker before LT plays a game.
He did that on the field too.....passI have it on good authority that he made a real arseclown of himself around the club (and with North fans and kids) last year because he wasn't getting a regular AFL gig.
Jarryd Blair would be excitedAnyone left for them to get?! If Hinkley listens to SEN I'll expect a Batchelor signing over the weekend
I'd be ok with taking him as a rookie, could be decent depth at least.Brownlow Medallist Adam Cooney believes Richmond discard Jake Batchelor can prove a shrewd addition to a club willing to roll the dice.
The 25-year-old was restricted to one game in 2017 and was subsequently delisted by the premiership winning Tigers, who originally drafted the Dandenong Stingray product with the 30th overall selection at the 2010 draft.
Batchelor does not turn 26 until February next year.
“I think he’s got a fair bit to offer,” Cooney told SEN Afternoons.
“Sometimes players end up in situations that aren’t always their fault, but that’s not too say they can’t find a spot in which they can fit in elsewhere.
“I’ve got no doubt he could have held his own in that Richmond premiership team but circumstances prevented that.
“You’ve got Alex Rance, Bachar Houli, David Astbury and Dylan Grimes, as well as the support cast, who all had unbelievably good years.
“It was just too tough for Jake to get in but I think he could be handy for a club looking for a disciplined defender.”
The 188cm former Tiger played all 23 games in 2015 but has limited to nine over the past two years.
His place was taken by Grimes, while the decision to push Brandon Ellis into defence further tightened the squeeze on the unassuming Tiger.

Think a few will get picked up late in the draft
Same reason why we didn’t pick up anyone in the draft. We’ve ****ed up, the salary cap is full with Mayne and Wells eating it up (our last pick ups)Anyone know why we haven’t picked up a KPD as a DFA? We’ve got a glaring hole there. Is it that there is no one worth taking as a DFA or we gonna draft tall??
So if we de-list Mayne he'll have nowhere to go then?Port Adelaide have lost their minds.
They're picking anyone with a heart beat!!!

theyre not going to win a flag in the next two years, so serves no purpose. Theyre better off getting games into their young guns, dominating the next two drafts, and then climbing up the ladder with a genuine a grade list that can challenge.I don’t get why teams like the Suns don’t pick up some more of these delisted players who could be something like, say, Ben Kennedy or Wellingham, etc. you get them for nothing. They play a role, and could at their best be more than handy, and th Suns have shed so many players lately. Even GWS or Carlton might gain something from players like this. Instead, someone like Mczkenzie - who I reckon we should have tried to share - go to Port?

Its what I'd do too.
