why is setenta not being discussed haven't seen him play but averages 2 goals a game (in 7 games)
in 2013 while at GWS* he is 30 but could be good depth if we have injuries to forward line AGAIN.
* we average 6.6 more scoring shots, 6 more marks inide 50 and 8 more inside 50s

With Dick, Hams and potentially Newman gone, and with much more pressing draft needs, we'll have absolutely no small/medium forward depth.
If Krakouer would be happy with a one year deal I don't think it would be a bad idea.

I'd like to see him at West Coast. Probably the only club that will pick him. If the Eagles are after an old fashioned natural crumbing forward then Andy is pretty good at it. Not quick in terms of foot speed but quick in tight spaces. Plenty of highlights on youtube of him.

His biggest problem would be his skills, as well as his general ability to impact contests as a small forward. He's a small state league midfielder for mine.

I suspect the Lions wouldn't be happy and might seek a bit of of revenge if we took their guy. They seem like the sort of club that would do that after their behaviour in the trade period.

Newman is the better player of the two, although not a sure thing to stay on the list for any length of time.

Banfield is a wingman, not a small forward IMO. He's quick, finds space and breaks lines. I'm not convinced Brisbane are using him wisely.

WCE could take Newman with our last Rookie pick , especially with his recent past and the fact that he has a court case ( Uncertain result ) after the Rookie draft .

Yeah I agree. I'm not sure the player would love it either. Taking a pay cut and relocating isn't exactly a great combination.

The club delisting him is running the risk of someone else picking him up though. The club is delisting him for a reason, to minimise risk, cut salary, whatever, they can't have it all their own way.

He's probably taking a pay cut being moved to the rookie list, plus in Banfield's case, he's relocating home. If he were to be picked up by either WA club, I mean.

Forgot he was a WA boy, but I was meaning that the relocation just adds salt to the pay cut.

I don't believe so but I can't find a source.

If he isn't at Brisbane next year, he'll need to be paid, otherwise they can put him on the rookie list and a portion of his salary falls outside the salary cap IIRC but he should be on the same money.
