Delisted players can they go onto a rookie list via free agency?

Can delist players go onto a rookie list via free agency?

Example Cook from demons get listed and then Freo wants him on a rookie list.

Yes they can. Most of those players that would move through free agency would be during the delisted player free agency from November 1st to 13th.

*Mind you during the current free agency period it really wouldn't make sense for players who are free agents to move to a rookie list when most of these players are moving for better coin.

Only if they weren't offered a contract. If a player refuses to sign an offered contract and walks, they're not a free agent.

Yea they can. Of course if the are a restricted free agent and the 'new' club only offers a rookie and their current club offers a better contract they stay. So like i said it basically wouldn't happen in this current free agency period but in the mini free agency from November 1st-13th I would think a few of those players would be offered rookie contracts at other clubs
