I doubt we get to keep the extra rookie spots. If we don't, we have four extra players on our list so will need to delist or trade out at least 7 more than we bring in (though one of these could be pushing Brayden George back to the rookie list and upgrading Kallan Dawson). We're only going to be drafting 4-5 players max. The other delistings would be dependent on which positional upgrades we can make in the trade season.
I think we might have to be more patient with Harvey and RHJ than we otherwise would be, because we don't have small forwards to compete for their spot. (Unless we trade in Stengle or Ainsworth)
Inside mids we have stacks of, so I could see how it would be mutually beneficial for Lazzaro to get traded for a late pick swap to a team where he gets more opportunity.
I think if Shiels wants to go 'round one more time we should keep him, because he's contributing more on game day than the bottom quarter of our list is capable of. But since he'll be 34 I can see why the general consensus is that he'll retire.
If we get to keep the two extra rookie spots for one more year (and since we're finishing bottom 3 I don't see how that would be be controversial for another 12 months), then TT + Greenwood + Lazzaro + Shiels + CCJ would be my starting point.
Then if you can get Parker, Stengle or whoever, you make further delistings accordingly.
I had thought that Phillips, Archer and Taylor would likely be gone, but their performances hopefully continue to rule that out. I think Pink, Biggie, RHJ and Sellers are the most likely to join your list.
