Sunday night - Perth ABC news just reported at end of sport section that Sheridan and Sutcliffe will be de-listed this week

So is that seven down and four added? How many more delistings and who will they be? Most of the more desirable candidates for cutting appear to have contracts for next season.
 
So weve had 7 out the door, 4 in through trades. Havent duman, banfield, nyhuis been upgraded to the main list? How do we draft more players if our list is full and everyone is contracted?

Kersten’s in trouble tbh. Really no point having him next season. Can’t see anyone else apart from that. Jones and Meek?
I value Nads better then those two. He’s a development player, definitely lots to work with

Our KPD depth is pretty thin, unless Cox is a key defender now.

Not really (to Deathly also) - here is my opinion - just intended as a conversation in the off season - we are all friends! I like all 3 of the players delisted, but they lack attributes. Sheridan is just not balanced enough and although at times he has some great highlights, he is not a player that you pick with a fit 22 in a top 8 side. He was really important this year, and he was in contention for goal of the year. Sutcliffe - he has the courage but skills at times just are not at the level for AFL. He can hold down those pesky small forwards, but decisions and skills just hurt his warrant in the team.
Grey, has the heart and toughness of anyone, and honestly this surprises me the most as I thought he could get a game as backup, however saying that, he never really was the player to help create momentum. He had the physicality, and we love that, but it does not win matches. He would be good for the Suns I reckon.

So Bennell, well most will know I was saddened to hear he was gonesky. I am not sure if he will make it, but I will say this - if he does get on the field again consistently next year. We will play finals. This guy has that much talent. The 3 players de-listed have certainly been better club people and helped create a better environment... but even with these players the report is that our culture is not that great. My philosophy is a winning team is fun, and a losing team sucks.
There is no in between either.

IF Harley Bennell starts to play regular footy and delivering lace out to Hogan etc. and we start winning matches, the culture at the club will become positive and fun. I am certain, and I believe the club knows this too. I think sometimes we are the assholes that put too much pressure on players. I am scared at games sometimes. McCarthy, a fragile mind, everyone wanting him, then he turns into a problem. Bullshit I call, he was always a 3rd forward. I said it all along. Expectations Suck.

We are assholes. Get a grip. Hogan and Lobb. Expect nothing. They walk in to an immature team. I am renewing my membership without question. Because I love Freo. But I will not be expecting top 8 next year. I hope (top 8), but I will expect 10 wins.

So, in conclusion, I say keep the player that can win you matches, *within reason. There is a zero tolerance on the player, but it the reward for the club outweighs the "throwing the baby out with the bath water".

I think Grey will pop up again in coaching/admin with the women's team. Seemed to really get into that.

It also seems strange that we haven't had official word direct from the club on nyhuis and hughes. I still think they will end up on the rookie list somehow
