Green, Nixon and Scott have been told thanks but no thanks. With Holland and Beaumont retired this leaves 2 possibly 3 to go as trades or further delistings. Barker is one if he doesn't come up and Ball could be traded. The club is not likely to move on more than 7 at this stage.

I really hope Barker comes up, doubt it, but it'd be awesome to see him finish with a strong year. It'd change our side dramatically having him at 100%... but again.. doubt it. Ball was a certainty to get delisted but has a contract... who would want him?

I think Lonie and Ries are contracted as well, Ries may be traded, definately will struggle now Sewell has overtaken him as well, along with Lewis. A team wanting an in and under player may go after him for a very late pick.

Kane I hope gets another chance, has a bit to work with IMO.

Fabulous that's not a source. I have my ear planted firmly at Glenferrie and I have had nothing on those three. I can understand it if you have been told something in confidence.
Thought at least you could work out the sources. Think again. The last source is a bit tricky but he is a saint. :)

Greene has been really unlucky in his time at Hawthorn. I thought he would have got more of a chance under Clarkson this season but for some reason he didn't. His three matches he did play we quite good I thought. His Fremantle performance was something I thought helped us win that match. Hopefully he gets a shot at another club maybe at Carlton, Richmond or St Kilda. You compare him to a number of other players at the club and he has not got enough chances. Lonie, Clarke, Ladson have had many chances and are still on the list, but Clarke has improved heaps.

His skill level is very suspect and contributes to way to many turnovers-others have overtaken him - time to move on!

Greene is built like a twig, as is Clarke.
Love 'em or hate 'em - there is probably not much future for the "twig type" in any AFL's side if they're serious about premierships.

Hmmnn?? Let me think (even though for me it hurts). The Saint clue you have given ..... so our Matty has leaked some info to Luke and you know or have a contact with Luke so, therefore, Greene, Nixon and Scotty are gone?

I'd flick Ball Greene Scott Barker Kane for sure and that makes it 7 places available. Lekkas won't continue so thats 8, maybe Barker may then be kept.

No chance of Sewell being on this list given the way he finished the year. Agree Greene has been struggling but to get delisted twice is a bit harsh. :)
Sorry to confuse but this is the source list not the delist list.

I thought Ang's future was still up in the air! AC will be trying to convince him to go around again from all reports.

Huge risk for Lekka to play again with his stroke problem, but l think we might get half a season out of him which will be good for the younger guys.

I think that there will be no surprises with the delistings: Scott, Ball, Holland, Beaumont, I recon they can trade or give away Kane, Greene, Nixon for very little in return.

If Barker looks like he wont make it then they will probably promote Kirkby from the rookie list.

In the paper this week, Hawthorn said it won't 'officially' announce delistings until after the trade period. This will enable them to possibly get something in return (draft picks) than just letting them go, and giving the players a second chance.
-Steven Greene has requested a trade after being told he will be delisted anyway.
-Doug Scott, gone
-Barker was told don't get any injuries up to December and will be given 1 year contract
- Lekkas played well first game back, but in all honesty i don't think he should risk playing on, great servant of the club but not part of the future direction.
- Nixon, gone?, probably bit stiff only getting 1 year to try out, but medically don't think is right, so i would trust the staff on this one (ie remember a bloke called Jade Rawlings)
- Kane, Gone?
