AFL Site says that the following changes have occurred lto the West Coast List leading up to the 31/10/01 deadline:

Retirements : Kemp and Donnelly
Delisted - Antonowicz and Turnbull

No surprises so far. More delistings may occur befor ethe deadline.

I would like to say good luck to Ryan Turnbull after a great career. He got his rewards this year with the Royals Flag, the Simpson medal and Sandover Medal. He was also an Eagles Premiership Player. Thanks for the memories. I for one think he should be given a worthwhile sendoff.

GO EAGLES!

Yep, all the best to Turnbull in life after the Eagles. He provided us with great service and I hope he has fond memories of his time at the club. Do you think he'll continue on with East Perth next year?

Thats pretty unlucky you must say, Simpson Medalist, Sandover Medalist and Premiership player, all in one year. If only he were 10-12 years younger that would be what dreams are made off:D

Good luck to him in whatever he pursues

Don't be too surprised to see Fremantle pick Turnball up in the preseason to help out Clem Michael with the ruck duties.
He still has a year or two left in him. He won't be a dud like the others we gave them though!

Being delisted at the end of the season would have to make the end of his career seem a bit of a non-event. No big send off's at Subi oval etc for the club and the fans to thank him for his services for the last 10 years.

Anyway, thank's Ryan! :)

Yeah a pity for Ryan, not exactly the send off that Kemp, Whoosha, Louie, Mckenna got..but then again he isnt really in there league. But thanks for you great service Ryan, all the best for the future.

Said on ch10 news that lists had to be cut down to 35 by next weeks tuesday deadline. I thought they had scrapped the 35 and kept 38?

Lists have to be cut down to 35 so that clubs have room for draftees. And since every team has to draft at least 3 players every year, 35 is the maximum list size clubs can have before the draft.
