Stood by him from the start even when he was raw in his first season. I could see that he had what it takes. The calls to drop him last week were absurd.

Love him!

Gun, already an important cog in our side.

He will never give up or back down you can be sure of that with Army and he has amazing pace. I'm sure he'll continue to improve his disposal and he's gonna be great for us.

I like knowing that when the ball is there to be won, his opponent, if he wins the contest is still never going to get a clean disposal. Army makes mistakes but he is an excitement machine and I just love having that confidence that his opponent will never get an easy touch.

Was great today, his speed is a real feature of his game. If he can polish that disposal off a little bit he will be a very good player.

there is only one thing between Armfield and AA selection. That's kicking. Man he'd be a weapon if his kicking was up to it.

Played excellent today.

Couldn't agree more.

His disposal is improving each week and despite a couple of mistakes early on, he more than made up for them today with his dash and courage to take on the opposition.

He never gives up and to be honest, we couldn't ask for much else.

Congrats Dennis :thumbsu:

Been defending him from every person whos laughed at him since his debut...

Onya Dennis...

........mmmm, I can see Army being part of the re-birth of the 'Mosquito Fleet' circa 1980's.

Ratts is on the right path with pace, pace and more speed..........and then finishing touches with the three amigos, Gartlett, Yarran & "hey I'm in charge of this group" Betts.....exciting times ahead! :thumbsu:

a skinnier, hirsuter mcckay? that's who he reminds me of. true attacking back pocket/flank and not one of these dropped back midfielders ala mcloed.

I reckon that we have a good collection of mid-sized defenders now and once Joey gets some more experience, we will also have excellent depth with Army becoming a permanent part of the 22.

Once everyone gets settled into their positions, our pace around the ground is going to be damned impressive. Yes we have a couple of slower players, but the majority of them are damned quick.
