Surtain played NFL system at Bama and has all the tools - and against NFL quality WO and systems
It not a sexy pick when its about points these days -
But in our division with Herbert and Mahomey... ill take a 10 years CB that we can put on an island in 2 years.
He does not have to be a CB1 in 2021. Gives him time.
Im more pissed we didnt trade back a few picks and get him there... although Cowboys were hot for him I believe

I don't mind Surtain himself so much, it's just picking a CB.

I'm no Lock fan but would have been pretty unfair to judge him off a season with no camp etc I feel. Deserved another year even if I'm not a believer right now.
