Compare our regular team to the team we could be playing during Origin.

Regular:

1. Slater
2. Folau
3. King
4. Quinn
5. Geyer
6. Inglis
7. Cronk
8. Kaufusi
9. Smith
10. White
11. Hoffman
12. Crocker
13. Johnson

14. Smith
15. Cross
16. Lima
17. Tagataese

Origin:

Assuming that Slater, Inglis, King, Smith, Kaufusi, White, Hoffman, Crocker AND Johnson are out :)eek:)

1. Turner
2. Folau
3. Quinn
4. Shortland
5. Chambers
6. Geyer
7. Cronk
8. Cross
9. Aubusson
10. Lima
11. Smith
12. Rua
13. Tagataese

14. Donnelly
15. Crossman
16. Barlett
17. Foran/Tolman (smokeys)

Really a young but pretty well rounded team who could definitely suprise around Origin.

Turner could have been a chance, but his injury has set him back. Speaking of smokies, I have no doubt Folau could handle himself at representative level. And Cronk's ability to play numerous positions could put him in contention too for a bench spot.

Aitken needs to be there abouts too. I'd give him a shot at 6, Geyer to the wing and Shortland to the bench.

Amazing depth really.

I can't see Slater or Folau playing origin this year. There is just too much competition in the Qld backline.
Folau, you're right - definitely not.

Slater is definitely at least a 50/50.

We know that Hunt will get a shot in the team (unless Brisbane possibly lose ALL their matches till Origin), so he's virtually assured a place at Full-Back.

Bowen is too small to play on the fringe, so for that reason I feel Slater will get a chance on the wing.

1. Hunt
2. Slater
3. Inglis
4. Hodges
5. Tate
6. Lockyer
7. Thurston

14. Bowen

That is an amazing backline.

I'd reckon Shaun Berrigan would get the nod unfortunatly over Bowen, however if i was picking it, bowen would be a shoe in.

That is a very, very exciting team. They are all young but they have excellent wraps on them and at most other clubs would be atleast oming off the bench. The Storm amaze me more every day.
