Just a really, really disappointing game. I feel flat.

We looked good early I thought but were ****ing things up big time in the forward line. Never got any better.

Brayshaw aside, one of the big disappointments for me was Cox. I like him and think he'll be great but he was awful today I thought.
And other than his performance in the scuffle, big Darc was pretty ordinary too.

Simpson seems to have Lyons measure just like Clarkson and Fagan. Yes I know we were less experienced and they're a good team and the maggots favoured them but put Fyfe and Blakely back in, I don't think it makes much difference. Our game plan is still shit.

Our average losing margin this year is higher than last year. We're not going anywhere at the moment. To use a nautical analogy we're in dead calm seas. Just sitting, drifting ever so slowly nowhere.

- Hope Andy pulls through with nothing worse than the broken jaw and the dental work.
- The lift after Gaff's piece-of-shittery doesn't cancel out our lack of organisation and execution.
- Goalkicking and decision making, if we can't get both right, we're not going to see much progress.

Thought Brayshaw (before the hit) and Brady were both positives. McCarthy wasn't awful. Thought there were some slim positives up forward that could be improved on if Tabs, Cox and Cam can stop tripping over each other.

Just feel flat above all else.

Sh*t happens on the footy field some times , very surprised it was Gaff say what you like about him he's about the last bloke you would pick to do something like that. The worst thing is it will smokescreen another pathetic performance by our boys. You watch some of the other games this weekend in detached fascination as you contemplate how long it will take us to get up to speed

Years by the looks of things

When talking about Tactics, is the cattle holding us back and if we get our best 22 we will be better or are our tactics shits?

I thought the first 10 or so weeks, we were ok but once again at the end of the year as bodies tire we really struggle.

Our kicking to the forward 50 is shocking, you can not even blame pressure as some of it was after a mark.

I'm not likely to get in any trouble with the cops am I, for sending a message to West Coast on Facebook Messenger to the effect of: "Hey Gaffe, watch your back. Hamish Brayshaw is on your list. He will put you in hospital scumbag! Say goodbye to your AFL career. Coward!"

Disgraceful and disappointing, I agree Gaff shouldn't be let off easily. I don't condone anyone cheering it (and I know most Eagles fans wouldn't) and I hope Andy will be okay.

Game was no different to how I expected it to go. Cox needs a rest. He looked absolutely stuffed and at times barely got out of a walk. If we can get through the last 3 games without any more beltings I'll be happy.

I wonder what Hamish will say to Gaff when he sees him. You can bet it'll be frosty.

Tabs took a while to get going, but gee he means a lot for the structure and confidence of others. Mccarthy got going.
We need a forward line yes, but our kicking/skills into the final third was rubbish. Rushed, unthoughtful. Whereas Eagles knew where their forwards were and kicked with purpose. It was frustrating all game. We dominated the clearances, killed them in the middle. Yet skills beyond the middle was shocking

Lol nah, you'll be fine, nothing to worry about

Why does Cox need a rest? What are we doing wrong that a bloke in his second season is fatigued just 3 weeks after a bye? Don't we have elite strength and conditioning staff like other clubs? I know we have state of the art training and rehabilitation facilities.

Your brilliant subterfuge of spelling his name wrong was a master stroke , no case to answer for mine

Yeh on a few occassions tabs, cox, and mccarthy got in eachothers way. I think it needs to be persisted with and could be truly dangerous. Will take time to gel though.
