I don't get where everybody thinks he will leave, he comes across as a level headed and loyal kind of guy and can see him getting a game in a few weeks then signing on in August

I understand what you're saying but what club wouldnt stand by a guy they picked up at no 6 in the draft? Cant make it out like we have done more than what anyone else would of done with his injury. When you get a guy at 6 you do whatever you have to do to get him right. I'll be pissed too if he goes but he doesn't owe us anything. He would have got taken a few picks later if we didnt pick him.

If that forces us to offer them a sweetener to let it go through

And if Schazza was willing we might offer him up

But I wouldn't want to put money on that many ifs

It's due to him being homesick at times which has come out openly from the club but they seem to think he will put pen to paper so wait and see i guess.

I do not understand the Shannon Cox over Tippett?
They are not from the same draft.
Tippett was drafted by Adelaide in 2006 with pick 32.
We picked Reid at 8, Brown at 10 and Dawes at 28 in that draft.

Tippett was a 19 year old when he was Drafted by the Crows

Tippett has had the odd purple patch over his career, but I've always considered him to be a seriously overrated (and overpaid in recent years) player. Perhaps he'd have walked out on us, like he did Adelaide, so overall I don't think Hine should lose any sleep over that "miss."
