To start the ball rolling, let's clarify some things.

Hine took over as List Manager at the end of 2013, Geoff Walsh walked out during the middle part of that year, shortly after the Harry O'Brien drama.

Don't believe Derek is a bad recruiter. He is a very good recruiter of U18 kids, that is a difference to bringing traded players in.

Hine has brought in these recycled players. White, Tony Armstrong, Clinton Young, Taylor Adams, Varcoe & Crisp. I'd put his strike rate at 50/50.

A lot of criticism gets thrown towards Buckley but our list management under Hine has been questionable.

Young is the only big failure in that group, Armstrong and White were brought in for next to nothing and White at least has performed how most level headed people expected him to.

Adams Varcoe and Crisp have all been good additions.

Our trade with White directly netted WC Elliot Yeo & Dom Sheed.

Young was brought in for the 2013 season. So that was Walsh wasn't it?

Reads a lot better that way Armstrong and Crisp cost nothing, Varcoe somewhat cheap considering circumstances, Adams is proving his worth and yes at this stage White was expensive but was a need.

I would give Hine a good mark as list manager

Maybe mick39 should be the list manager/ coach/director of football and captain of the club, he can do a better job than all of them in their roles. So he believes anyway.

So Hine has had two seasons as List Manager to impact on our list, 2014 and 2015? That is not long enough to make an objective assessment.
